  We are an Icelandic/Swedish family with 3 children.
  Klas, Asrun, Heimir (18) Anna (13) Johan (11). We are looking for someone that would like to become part of our family and help out with the younger children and around the house.
  
  We live on an island (Hrisey) in the north of Iceland and it is a small, quiet community. We have a large house with a separate newly equipped apartment that the relevant person can live in.
  
  The ferry takes about 15 minutes to sail and then it is a 35km drive to Akureyri, the biggest town outside of Reykjavík area in Iceland. The north is full of amazing places and nature to see and explore. There would be plenty of time to travel around with or without our family.
  
  Heimir, who is the oldest, is rarely at home because he studies and lives with family in Akureyri.
  Anna is very calm and aesthetic, enjoys painting and reading.
  Johan likes to have fun and hang out with friends.
  
  Both Klas and Asrun work full time. Klas works in Akureyri and Ásrún manages the little grocery shop in Hrísey and works for town. Sometimes the hours are long so we would like to host someone who would be willing to help around the house when not exploring everything Hrísey and North of Iceland has to offer.

  You could become a part of (semi) normal Icelandic/Swedish family and be with us in our everyday life. The community on our island is small but tight and we take full part in it and you with us. When we travel you tag along if you want. We help plan and guide if you want to take on of our cars to explore by yourself.

  Ajuda

  The days Ásrún and Klas both have long workdays or both go to land for work, we need someone who can help the kids get up and going to school. Also to be at home or on the island when they are done in school some days of the week. They are no babies so the job is mostly just being there. Some days we might ask you to help making dinner and help the kids with their house chorus (as they are old enough to have those), but mostly this is for our (Ásrún and Klas) peace of mind that the kids are not alone.

  We want to speak more Swedish at home for the kids. We can help with Icelandic studies for those who are intrested in that.

  Acomodação

  We have a small apartment in our house that would be your home in our home while staying with us. There you have your own bedroom, living room, bathroom and, if you want to cook something else or just be by yourself, there is kitchen. We rent the place out over summer so there you have everything you need. There you can also receive friends and family if they want to visit.
  
  We would like to have you as part of the family so you should not need to cook and get grocery, other then what you might want for private use.
  We cook and eat meat and fish. There are no allergies in the family.

  The swimming pool and gym are near us. There you can enjoy the hot tub, sauna and a nice view.
  Hrísey is a nature paradise with good walking paths and much to explore.
  The ferry goes every 2 hours from 07 in the morning to 21 in the evening.
  We can provide a car when there is time off.

  There is high speed Internet connection in the house. Work desk and chair in the apartment.
