Roger & Sonia were a delight! They were with us for 2 weeks. Cleaned some windows for Carl, helped with education of one of our children & gardening. They were understanding that I was away for a few days at the start of their time with our younger boy. We also enjoyed taking them to Wilson's Promontory & Inverloch & celebrating Sonia's birthday.

Their communication was great - we appreciated the opportunity to practice our little bit of Spanish. A great cultural exchange experience.
We recommend them to other hosts & look forward to hopefully meeting them again in Spain.

My girlfriend and I stayed in Meg’s farm for 2 weeks.
We really enjoyed our time there, time went by really fast!
My girlfriend helped the oldest kid, Will, with his lessons and homework and I helped Meg with some daily tasks in the farm and the garden like weeding, “building” a new fence, digging holes for the trees etc.

Although the first three days, while Meg was away we helped Carl, the dad, in his job site construction and we worked the 4-5 hours that are indicated in the profile, the rest of the days we worked less than 4 hours.
We have to thank Meg because she always made sure that we were comfortable, she allowed us a lot of free time to explore around and she even borrowed us the bikes!
She’s also a great cook and all the dishes she prepared were delicious.
The best thing about Meg, appart from being a really nice person is that her communication is excellent, not only before the workaway starts but especially during the time you spend with her family.
Thank you for this wonderful time and hopefully see you in Spain!

We spent a wonderful two weeks with Meg and her family.
Her farm, the town and the surroundings are beautiful. Meg is an amazing person and she has treated us like members of her family, we have felt at home.
She showed us the best spots of this beautiful region. The accommodations were very comfortable and private, we can used their bicycles
… read more to go to the nearest villages, and the work was easy and comfortable, especially with the children's class.
It has been a great experience. We can't wait to see you again in Spain!!

Wow, we miss them already and they only left on the bus 3 hours ago. We LOVED having Helio & Gabriela here with us - we now have a Spanish Family! They are simply amazing!!! … read more time learning history and Spanish, gardening, they did an amazing job of our windows, bike riding, soccer, Wilson's Promontory National Park and Walkerville beach (with the old stone structures). Unfortunately summer forgot to come this year yet the upside is the region is still green. Gabriela & Helio are what workaways is about - a valuable exchange for traveller (not tourist) and host. Lluc & Paula were our first workawayers for a number of years and were amazing. They did a great job of overcoming what seemed insurmountable to me in a garden project and we all loved spending time with them. Especially our children. We learnt about life in Spain / Catalonia from them and enjoyed time at Wilson's Promontory hiking, cooking
