I don't even know where to begin - and I am writing this with the utmost gratitude, love and respect (and some happy tears in my eyes) for this family and everyone that I have met in this pueblo. … read more wonderful and beautiul new experiences of generosity, of community and of openness. Everyone that I had the pleasure to talk here were all so so sweet. I also made friends with two of the village dogs and I will miss seeing them running up to me every time we see each other. This experience also opened my eyes to a one hundred percent authentic Spanish lifestyle and the Medditeranean diet. Eli and Juan Pe and the extended family are some of the most generous people that you will meet. I am so touched by the amount of times that I have been included in every conversation, every outing the family had and literally, nunca me falta la comida. The generosity of the Serrano-Ortiz family will stay in my heart forever and I am so grateful that I got to have this experience with them. They have changed me in more ways than I have managed to have an impact in this home. Finally, the children are some of the smartest, cleverest children that I have had the pleasure to meet, play with and speak with. We had such a good laugh most of the time and I will miss them so much! I stayed for one week longer than anticipated because I had such a great time. Eli, JuanPe, Rafa y Victoria, thank you and I will miss you! Hasta luego! xoxo

Luane has been in our house for a month. She is a very calm and polite girl.
She is a person that you can live easy with.

Arti arrived home on November 30th, 2024, to stay only on month and she has finally been with us for two months.
I feel very lucky to have met her, so for us it was the first time we had an experience of this type and thanks to it we are still very excited to repeat the experience .

I had the honor to be the first workawayer of this wonderful family. I don't know where to start to describe how wonderful Eli's and JuanPe's family is. I stayed 2 months with them and had the chance to live an authentic day to day life in a small Pueblo in south of Spain and i love everything about it. The people, not only the family, i also got
… read more to meet a lot of people of the village and they were all very welcoming and loving. Even being in a small Pueblo with not the best connection with public transport, Eli and her family where always very available to take me with their car to other pueblos where they were more frequent busses, and i have slept several time at her mother's house in Granada city when i needed a place where to stay in the city. In other words they did everything they could and beyond to make my stay pleasant and help me explore the area. Ohhh the food was amaaaaazing, Eli does the best dishes with fresh and delicious food. And the kids are the cutest. The right amount of craziness and funny as hell. I will miss them very much and i can't wait to go back and visit them again.
