I spent more than 2 weeks at Marzabotto with Ludovica. The place was quite and beautiful on the hills surrunded only by a couple of neighbours who were very friendly. I had to do some small garden work including cutting the grass, digging the ground, collecting the lavenders etc...
Ludovica was very nice with me we went together to her friends
… read more many times so I could socialize and could improve my Italian :) There are some amazing rivers and lakes in the area which were very cool to visit too. Also she took me to Bologna which is a lovely ancient city with amazing history and architecture.

Che dire di questa esperienza? Ludovica è stata un host veramente ottimo! Sempre alla mano, gentile e scherzosa. Ovviamente per il tipo di lavoro consiglio un minimo di adattamento, bisogna rendersi conto luogo in cui si sta andando. La sua casa è molto accogliente, ed ora anche con due bagni appena restaurati! I lived my first workaway experience here with Ludovica and her son Elia, two weeks during the last January. It was perfect to start and learn some useful stuff about woods, maintenance and the lifestyle by the hill/mountain side, in a natural environment just near to the town... very nice to cook and spend the evening together by the fire, when
