We are volunteer-based initiative that has recently begun to develop into a new quality and new base - the former dairy building in Druviena parish – PĒRLE (Pearl), where we are planning to build a Center of Wholeness, or the house of Creativity and Health. This beautiful but forgotten house has been given to the idea and vision of the youth association. It is located in an empty area between Druviena, Jaunpiebalga, Cesvaine and Liezēre - in the ancient, now lost center. Pērle is one of those places in Latvia that has remained empty in the process of human outflow to the bigger cities. However there are still people in this area who has remained and rooted in with grate love towards their near surroundings and land, as well as the unspoiled and clean nature of the area. Here, around 10 newborn like-minded families are already settled for a long time. Over the time, there has been a unique community of mutual support and co-operation already, based on our lands ancestral knowledge and together being practices. Only the node of the place - the point of meeting, exchange and joint power - Pearl - forgotten.

We are visioning this place as a center of healthy human being. As a place dedicated to the mankind and its integrity. Within it they are learning new ways of being, becoming healthy and whole, learning to detect and implement its wholeness in the life. A place where a wide variety of people encounters and forms a Whole society.

Health and wholeness at all levels :

• with our primevality and materiality

• with other people, in a harmonious relationship with you partner and family

• with our universal source, spirit and comprehensive divinity.

But, specifically, at this place the Wholeness - its remembering and incarnation can manifest itself in a diverse, flowing, transforming environment and space laboratory. First of all, it can be a meeting point for people around. It can serve as a platform for exchange, cognition, support and sharing. It can be an ecological and renewable energy station. It can be a live library with the information you need for our development, transformation and prosperity. There would be engrossing lectures, workshops, seminars and individual counselings. A house as alive school for big ones and small ones – a lifelong learning practice. It can also take the form of artists' workshops and events - plenary sessions, youth training and transformation camps, as events with music, art, dance, poetry, cinema and joy. As leisure time and interest education activities. It can serve as a port of peace, relaxation and therapy in a exercise, healing and meditation spaces. As a sauna area and a restructuring trails. As a place for transformation festivals and retreats. As a place where to learn about the nature and the ways of cultivating and nurturing it. As a Sunday bio coffe and a healthy kitchen, a free shop and shop of local crafts. As a “Direct shopping” from peasants, a market and exchange area. This and much more as needed. Everything is up to the participants.

Since the road to this wholeness will be long and probably not simple, we have decided to start with basics. First of all, cleaning up the beautiful, but forgotten Pearl house, which includes renewal and restoring work. In a harsh times and weathers, the building was traumatized and damaged, and now craving for a new roof, windows and patient hands. At the moment we are creating a common space for both locals and friends for Sunday unions and opinion exchange place, as well as a co-production space or creative studio that will include activities such as photo studio and laboratory, sewing, screen printing, ceramics, material recycling, painting and drawing and much more. There is a place for a long-distance travelers already. Secondly, in addition to the cleansing processes for the house, we will also tidy and straighten ourselves, so that in the right time and form we as a team are ready to create a Center of social, cultural, artistic, scientific and spiritual development.

All of this on the way, in the process and in openness. At the moment, the house is undergoing a major repair work and can only rise to joined public work, donations, projects, sponsors and patrons. But power is rising from the earth, from people and their investment. And a Miracle also has its place and time.

Most Latvians live in strong connection to the mother Nature. An image of an grandmother that maintains garden and cooks jams are a common one. With this comes an ancient knowledge how to live with and within. Also, ritual practices are quite common, especially here, in Pearl we use the old wisdom to help us move forward in life.

Right now the main attention and work goes into the renovation of the community center - right now we are changing the roof for the house. Also possible that help is needed to the community members with their projects.

For this summer - there is a plan to clean and equip an attic - space planned to be used for communal living. Toilet is situated outside the house. For eco friendly cleaning and refreshing rituals we use river or pond of mill. Food is going to be made and eaten collectively three times a day.

We are situated 160km from Riga, capital of Latvia. You can find a bus from there to Ozoli, Liezēres pagasts or Liezēre, We are ready to pick you up at the bus stop, there's still some 16km to go from there.
As the place is situated in the middle of nowhere, there is a wide range of possibilities for exploring the Nature. From time to time we have some local gatherings. During the work camps - it is common to have morning stretching exercises and the evening program with dance, music, creativity, inner work practices and so on...
On the common ground we don't use any kind of intoxicants.
