Welcome to our world!
We are a Non Governmental Organisation based in Ada Bojana, Montenegro. We are a cultural and holistic group who strives to cultivate and preserve cultural movements in Montenegro and globally through events such as art projects, artist gatherings, workshops, music, poetry, and similar events. We endeavour to bring a new generation’s perspective and vision to the region we love dearly while paying respect to and honouring the traditions of those who came before us. Plainly, our focus is on the cultural, holistic, and artistic traditions, with introducing new and diverse cultures and traditions to a small community. We strive to be a place of healing and harmony in todays society, and welcome all who wish to share in our adventure and aspirations.
We nurture and care for local wildlife, help protect and to clean up the environment, promote and preserve musical culture and artistic expression, while providing a safe and holistic environment to all who pass through our threshold. The current staff consists of the 2 Founders of the NGO. We do pretty much everything ourselves at the moment during the off-season; although during the season we work as Founder/owners, hosts, bartenders, chefs, cleaners, organizers, and basically any positions that come to mind. We stretch ourselves thin trying to make each person’s experience wonderful, but we do need as many helping hands as we can get! We have friends who volunteer with us during the season, but this year we wish to grow our team to include more people!

Here, as a cultural holistic center, we want to have fun and to introduce volunteers, guests and members to the traditions and culture of the Balkan region, and also to the specific culture of Ada Bojana. We also wish to share in the knowledge, cultures and traditions of those who come to volunteer and visit us, and incorporate other diverse cultures into many offerings as an NGO. We wish to cultivate an environment of unity and respect while enjoying sun, music, food, drink, nature and all the offerings Ada Bojana brings to our place and to the region. We love to host and promote workshops to educate and train people through multiple platforms. Combining knowledge of Balkans and knowledge of visitors in the form of art, cooking, singing, project management, etc. The owners/founders also bring local and foreign culture together through their personal experience and Montenigrin and American backgrounds.

We would love to welcome volunteers to help with staffing or performing at events, artists, designers, up-cyclers, daily chores such as cleaning up, building structures, playing with materials, singing, playing instruments and general upkeep of the location. We need people with good vibes, that like nature, animals, art, music and etc. We welcome young people in our world and We welcome all ideas and improvements. Let’s have fun and make something beautiful.

Acomodação
We have a Hostel style apartment with 3 single beds, Camp trailer with 2 queen sized beds, option for camping ( 4x tents in different sizes+ mattresses) , a pop up glamping house also in hostel style with 8x single beds or more. We offer 2 shared bathrooms ( we are in the process of building a new addition to the bathroom which will allow for one more shower and toilet ) and we also have options for outdoor showering with the balkan method of solar heated water and cold ground water. The kitchen is in 2x locations, both of which are outdoor style. The shared common area/ event area is available for hang out, events, recreational activities, gardening, building, etc. but does have quiet hours from 03:00 - 09:00. Please be advised that it is located in a forest, and 90% is outdoor in Nature! We are a 5 minute walk from the beach which has many bars, restaurants, and night life; and a 5 minute walk from the Bojana river and delta. We are located on the Right side of Bojana river, and 10 mins walk from the bridge that will take you to the left side of the river where you can visit the island of Ada Bojana that has many activities, restaurants with local cuisines, nudist beaches, nudist hotels and nudist camping!

Our team is open for any help and suggestions regarding social media management, marketing, and software for NGO member management.

Our motto is “we are pet friendly if the pet is friendly”. All friendly animals are welcome; we ourselves have 3 indoor/outdoor cats, 4 outdoor cats, 1 indoor/outdoor dog, a variety of chickens, and japanese quails. We also require all pets to be vaccinated and protected from all forms of parasites and bugs. Due to the tropical climate, sand flies and mosquitoes are common and in abundance during the spring and summer months, it is important to protect your animal from the spread of leishmania and similar parasites. All of our animals have been properly protected against the aforementioned diseases and parasites.
