  Hi there, travelers!
  Here Cip and Dalma, a young married couple - who just settled after a long period of "workawaying". We did also voluntary jobs across Europe and Latin America, but now we are the ones needing help and feeling the urge to give back to other travelers from the good experiences, that we once received.
  We are located in the heart of Transylvania, in a medium size village (near Reghin, Mures county), where the famous ViaTransilvanica is passing by; the area is very beautiful with plenty of places to explore.
  Dalma is mainly working from home as a daily job and Cip is divided between building our house (and other annexes) and working abroad from time to time for a basic income.
  Beside the delicious and varied dishes that you’ll definitely try from, we can teach you a lot about practical skills about building, gardening, foraging, and other ones.
  A very important notice that on our land there are 4 friendly dogs, always ready for cuddles and they seek for attention all the time.

  In your free time, you can explore our village, we do have a historical castle or you can visit the nearby cities, but if you prefer nature, as we mentioned before - ViaTransilvanica is crossing our village, you can go on daily hikes as well.
  Interested in mushrooming? You got to the right place. Cip has a lot of knowledge about them and he is ready to share this, also you can join us into the forrest for mushroom/wild berries picking. As mountain lovers, we may also go on short/longer hikes, places where if you desire, you are welcome.
  On the rest days, when we do not work - we love to spend our time playing boardgames, what a pleasure it would be to have another player(s) around the table.

  Ajuda

  We started our project off-grid, last year, in 2025, when we began the construction of our wooden-cabin in an orchard.
  This is the place where we would gladly accept help, since there are so many things to do all year around, but mainly in the warm season (May-October).
  We have a little veggie garden, that always needs some care: weeding, watering, harvesting :D. The orchard itself is also big and there is always work to-do: grass cutting, fruit picking, leaves raking, painting etc. In case you can handle tools and you like DIY tasks, we may find small things that you can build on your own as well, ex. cages for our dogs, bird feeders, storage place for firewood etc.
  Mainly we will work together otherwise we will clarify together the things that needs to be done, taking into consideration skills and willingness :)

  We are a mixed couple: hungarian and romanian, so we are ready to teach you our language and we are open to learn yours as well, share our traditions and learn about yours.

  Acomodação

  In exchange for max. 4 hours a day/ 5 days a week we can offer a place to sleep in a separate wooden cabin - that is equipped with kitchen (that we may share) . Or you can freely put up your tent or come with your camper (if the road stays dry).
  3 meals a day are provided (on non-working days too) or ingredients in the special cases when we are busy to cook, you don't need to starve, this is one thing we can guarantee. We do not have a special diet, but in case you do let us know so we can prepare the meals accordingly.
  For extra needs, we usually go weekly for shopping in the city, we can take you with us, or you can self help and walk 10-15 min to the local grocery store.
  There is drinking water, but we also have a well and we store water from rain. Some things to note: there is no heating in the cabin, neither electricity yet (we plan to have it as soon as possible). We have a solar base exterior shower that you can use.
  As for internet, we can share our mobile data. To charge your phone we can give you power banks, that we would charge daily at our parent’s house in the village that is just 10 mins walk away. You are free to go there during your free time and they have a big terrace with a table that you can use as your "office" place, you can charge laptop, phone and there is Wifi available, plus a washing machine.

  The nearest city is Reghin but we are close to 2 big cities as well, Targu Mures and Cluj Napoca, if there will be the case we can give you updated details about the means of transportation on how you can reach us, depending from where you come.
  As a matter of preferences we would like non-smokers, since on the land all our constructions are wood based, and in the dry season fires are pretty dangerous

  The access to the land is on a dirt road and if it's rainy season than it's difficult to get here without a 4x4
