This has been my first experience with workaway, and it was truly a delight! Raul and his girlfriend, Davinia, are such lovely people. We had wonderful conversations and lots of laughter, and they were kind enough to show me some of the special places on the island that you can't get to with public transportation. They will always be welcome in my home, and I absolutely consider them good friends after these fantastic 10 days in their beautiful home. Raul kindly allowed me to stay in Uga with him for almost 3 weeks at the last minute, and I had a lovely time. Raul and his girlfriend are so friendly, and the town and accommodation are very pleasant. The only thing I would say is that it felt a little more like couchsurfing or some equivalent as the work was so easy and flexible. There was

We spent just few days with Raul in the peaceful town San Bartolome,
but we had a great and very interesting time. Raul was a nice interesting host and also a great guide for this beatiful island.
