Making this review is very important and complicated for me because I don't even know if I can express how grateful I am to Steve and his family.
I stayed at the farm from end of February to end of June 2019, right in the middle of the sadly famous covid19 and It was the best place I could ever expect to be during such a crisis.

… read more Aussie life experience in an amazing and beautiful area with nice people.
Debbie and Steve are both incredible cook and the food was just always delicious, the accommodation is perfect, a recent big apartment separated from the family's house build specially for the backpackers.
You will work and learn everything about garlic but also on a lot of different organic vegetables and having the opportunity to help with the sheep, cows, pigs and bees which is really cool!
Working there was never boring and we really had good times, talking and joking about everything...
Steve and Debbie, you are hard worker, always have been kind and helpful towards us. After this terrible year I sincerely wish you the best in the future for your family and the farm.
Talisha and Elise, you are both amazing and I'm sure you'll find your way and do nice things in the future!
Graham, you're honestly one of the nicest person I've ever met, Brock and you deserves the best and I'm sure everything will get better now.
I can guarantee that I'll always remember my time at the farm... Once again, thank you for everything.

It is difficult to find the right words to express how grateful I am, and will always be, to Steve and his family for taking care of me while I was working there. First of all.. this is a real social experience, and that's what I loved the most. We would always talk about funny stories (but also interesting topics about nowadays politics, farming,
… read more etc) while working, and the daughters would enjoy us sometime and we were laughing altogether. This is something that I appreciated since the very first moment because it made me feel at home, like part of the family.
Then there is the surroundings, the place that Steve is creating with passion and hard work: a farm more and more self sustainable, selling veggies to some trusted customers, and eating the rest :)
I can without any doubt say that Debbie is one of the best cook ever, the meals are just so good and moreover you know where the ingredients come from!
The work can be vary depending on the time of the year, but there is one thing that you will for sure do.. garlic!
I would definitely come back if I had the chance!
Otherwise see you in Italy!!!
special thanks goes to Elise: I will always remember your energy and attitude! You will do great things in life!
Graham (& Brock!!!): thank you for being so nice with us all the time, always with something funny to say, for the ice cream, the snakes, the camping.... great memories!!!

I have been just 4 days in the Debbie and Steven's farm. They are so kind and nice persons and the atmosphere is so relaxing and beautiful views.
Work with them is funny. Graham likes making jokes and speak about cars.

We spend a month at Steve and Debbie's farm and it pass so quick, they have such a nice family. We were planting garlic with the best crew ever. When you are looking for family living at a beautiful isolated farm, where you can coming down and maybe plan your next steps for your travel, then you are right at steve and debbie :) I realy enjoyed sleeping in the schoolbus with other volunteers as well. We had Vivian stay with us for 11 days and in this time we found her to be of great character and an excellent worker with a great work ethic. She fitted in very well with the family and joined in with the humour and is a fun girl to have around.

Andreas stay with us on the farm for 4 weeks He was a great worker always done a great job with good work ethic. He helped us with garlic planting weeding mulching , brushcutting and other farm jobs. Andreas was very good around the house and fitted in very good with our family

I stayed at Steve and Debbies farm for three weeks and had a great time.
The work is fun, interesting and not to hard. The food is fantastic!, its better then any resturant i ever been to and a reason to come to the farm in itself. I really recommend this place.
