  We live in a beautiful coastal rainforest in British Columbia, Canada and love to share our piece of wilderness paradise. A couple with a love of travel and the outdoors (and dogs!). Our home backs onto a nature reserve with forest trails off the property for you to explore, as well Bowen has over 30 public beaches across the island. SPRING 2026: We are looking for help with the Spring property clean up, garden set up, forest and exterior house projects - mainly outdoor. We are preferable to short stays right now as our suite is under renovation, so camper or den are available for sleeping - both awesome, but not necessarily for longer stays.
  Let us know if you are looking for a shorter stay this April-May! (We also know many Hosts on island looking for help, so could help coordinate if needing/wanting longer on island :)

  We speak English and German (and would love to learn and speak more Spanish!), our home is set amidst nature with vast opportunity to learn and explore the Canadian outdoors. We cook a lot, so if you'd like to we can cook together!

  APRIL 2026: Spring clean up!
  Things we'll be doing: Chipping branches and making garden paths, general clean up of winter forest in yard, landscaping and planting, garden set up, exterior house clean (windows etc), maybe light painting depending on weather. If you are a knowledgeable gardener or landscape person, awesome! Also organizing wood and tool sheds and forest trail clean up too!
  
  GENERAL ALL YEAR:
  With all the beautiful trees comes a lot of tree and property tasks. We can always use help with outdoor property/garden things (pruning and cutting in Spring, property clean up, firewood prep and wood chipping in fall etc.) as well as general household upkeep projects (painting, carpentry, cleaning etc.). We are setting up some growing areas, planning out the gardens and creating trails around etc. If you have a love or skill you'd like to share or something you'd like to learn, please let us know!

  Camping trailer (see pics) or if you prefer we have a den room (pictured) in the with a queen bed and your own bathroom down the hall.

  We are flexible for help times and happy to chat over varying lengths of stays and hours so that you can get time to explore Bowen! Split up the day to go for a hike or the beach, we are happy to have you enjoying your time here and can make the days help together for projects.

  Yes! We also have a 16' camper ourselves and are able to offer space. Check with us for rig size and set up and we can see what we can do!

  Please ask, depending on your pet we can try to make it work and accommodate. We have 2 small Cavapoos and love dogs, if yours is sociable with other animals and ok in open areas with wildlife, we are happy to see if it can work.
