Hello, future Workawayer!
We are a friendly family of three—myself, my wife Gulfem, our lovely daughter Eva, and our sweet cat Fairuz. We are looking for a motivated and caring individual to join us as a volunteer.
What We Need Help With:
- Childcare & Education: Eva is a bright and curious child, and we need some extra hands to help with childcare and educational activities.
- House Chores: General upkeep around the house to keep things running smoothly.
- Bnb Management: We have three Bnb flats that require check-ins, check-outs, and cleaning.
What We Offer:
- Private Room: You'll have your own comfortable room to relax in.
- Meals: We’ll provide you with meals during your stay.
- Cultural Experience: Experience life with a local family and get to know the area.
Requirements:
Experience or interest in childcare and education.
Ability to manage basic house chores.
Familiarity with Bnb and cleaning tasks is a plus.
Social media skills for announcements and updates are highly desirable.

**Important Note:**
Under no circumstances should you open our house to any person, guest, friend, or family visitor without our explicit permission in our absence.
**Family Dynamic:**
Our warm home comprises Eva, our vibrant 7,5-year-old daughter, and Fairuz, our beautiful and intelligent cat. Eva is a charming, social, and fun-loving child, while Fairuz adds a touch of feline sweetness. Both eagerly await the arrival of a new, cherished member to our household.
**Accommodation:**
Enjoy your own room, ensuring privacy, in our charming three-story independent old Istanbul wooden house centrally located in a quiet alley—a safe and serene environment.
**Hosting Experience:**
Having hosted volunteers for the past six years, we treasure the exchange of experiences and look forward to fostering positive memories with our new helper.
**Requirements:**
Preference will be given...
- to volunteers committed to a minimum one-month stay, with an inclination for longer durations;
- to volunteers with music (guitar and piano) knowledge, even better if able to teach that to Eva;
- to Greek native or very fluent speakers (NOT necessary! it is not a condition, just a reason for preference. in 6 years, we have got only one Greek speaking volunteer. No problem!)
