Reena is an outgoing, positive and energetic young woman. We had a lot of interesting discussions and it was a pleasure to get to know her and learn from her.
I think any host will be happy to have her as a workaway guest and we will also be happy to host her again.

My daughters had a lot of fun with them playing board games in the evenings and so did I. Nic and Anna are very interesting, out-going people and very sociable around dinner table, which I really enjoyed. They shared our interests for arts and mountains and we learnt a lot from them.Comentário

About the host, Britta is such an interesting woman, she is organized and very clear about what she wants and needs but mostly she is very thoughtful with workawayers. I would say she really gets what this experience is about and she tries her bests to make you feel at home and share good conversations and experiences and time. The food was so delicious!
About Dana, she is such a lovely girl, so full of joy and so easy to get along with, i enjoyed every car ride with her.

There were some minor communication issues, due to English and French knowledge, but they were not a real problem, because we always took the time to explain things properly. Andrea is very reactive in her online communication, which made it easy for us to find dates etc.
She even left us a present and I understood that she is a person who loves to integrate into a small family for a small moment to share some small good moments.

- A very lovely family, great conversation every night around the dinner table, always very polite and welcoming you into their family home. They even took us skiing and taught us how to ski! The area:
- We stayed in January and went skiing almost every single day of our 3 week stay! There are so many ski resorts nearby ranging from very cheap and beginner friendly to more advanced resort style.

I spent three weeks in Mijouet with Britta, Dana and Sophia and it was great. They are a lovely family living in a lovely place.
Before my arrival, Britta sent me a document with my tasks written in detail, which I really appreciated! We went over the coming days in the evenings as well, so it was always really clear what to expect.

… read more was to pick up/drive the girls to the bus stop, which was a 15-20 min drive in beautiful surroundings. I also did some smaller tasks in the house like vacuuming, wiping the floors, hanging laundry etc.
Britta likes beer as well as I do, so every friday we had a beer and we tried different sorts which was nice! She is a very generous person and interested in different cultures so we discussed a lot about Swiss/French vs Swedish culture. Both her and the girls always had tips on where to go and what to do, so I went on a lot of daytrips in the little red car.

She is an interesting person to talk to, drawn to anything unconventional and we had lots of conversations about language, culture and society, which I enjoyed a lot. As a sporty person, she joined on some long hikes.
My two daughters got a long with her really well, and she was the perfect older sister for them.
I absolutely recommend Chiara and we will definitely host her again, if we get the occasion.

The place is also absolutely beautiful and breakfast with a view of the Alps is pretty special, you also have use of the car outside work which makes a huge difference - If you're into hiking or wild swimming then this is a really good area to be in (and of course skiing in winter).
The girls are very easy to get along with and were kind in trying to help me with my (très mal) French, and Britta is really interesting and we had some great conversations. The cat is also incredible.

My first skiing experience was during these weeks as well. I joined on one of the skiing Saturday's and Britta and Sophia taught me quickly the technique needed to head off on my own the days thereafter. Beautiful hiking trails are available and Britta is happy to think along for some routes. If you are into cooking, there are possibilities to share you're food culture together! The after-dinner talks with Britta were always enjoyable, where topics like food, languages and travel were returning topics! All with all, I've had a great time! Sophia and Dana are two very sweet and very cool girls (I wish I was that cool when I was their age haha). They speak very well English. It was fun to be their driver, additionally they were good personal DJ's in the car.
They are all very easy going and sharing. The freedom of being able to use the car is a big bonus, and the car is a really easy to handle. The freedom and warm home you get compared with the tasks that need to be done, was amazing. We had a great week with Ans, unfortunately it was only a week. She is a very easy-going and happy person. She got along perfectly with my two daughters and did all the jobs to our complete satisfaction. Her sporty nature helped her to progress in skiing very quickly and we even went skiing together for a day. She was fun to be around.
