This workaway definitely has a lot to offer and to enjoy,
Dave is very generous, allowing you to enjoy the house freely, as well as taking you boat rides or driving to the station. The work itself consists of general maintenance of the enormous house and setting up and taking down the party he's organizing, which was an experience I thoroughly

… read more fun during your stay. We spent time fixing up a venue for a party and some general housework. Overall, this was a fantastic workaway & I would recommend it to anyone going to Perth. The fellow Workawayers were great too and I'm glad to be leaving with some new friends!

Dave was truly a perfect host, despite this being my first trip as a workawayer and my English not being very good. He was patient and kind, and I really enjoyed organizing the party together and spending time with him. Dave made my stay at his home so much fun with music, boat trips, and much more. Thank you again for everything!

The house is absolutely beautiful and the area is just as stunning – peaceful, relaxing, and surrounded by nature. I felt very welcome from the beginning.

The work itself was enjoyable – we helped paint and decorate a venue and got it ready for a party, which we also had the chance to attend and support during the event. We also helped out around the house with general cleaning and a bit of gardening, which was a nice balance between home tasks and creative projects.
There was a good mix between free time and work, and I definitely recommend this Workaway to anyone who enjoys a beautiful setting, friendly people, and a variety of tasks.
And of course, Diva and Chico – two absolutely sweet and lovely dogs! I loved playing with them and having them around every day.
Dave is a cool host, laid-back and respectful, and I’m grateful for the time I got to spend here. Thanks again for everything!
In several years and hosting probably nearly 100 workaway crew I have never had to leave a negatve review.
I have also never seen such disrespect or thanklessness from 2 people (plus a third friend I went out of my way to accommodate). These girls knew the work schedule, and instead of being in place ready to go after having stayed 2 nights for
… read more free at the property, PLUS having been given paid work at a friends bar, decided to go out the night before the work day and not come home till 10am, missing the work day.
They were then asked to stay at the house and do jobs at the house, but decided instead to leave without telling anyone, having done no work, and even leaving the rooms they had been given in a mess. Appalling behaviour, i would highly recommend hosts do not extend Julie Geniale, her friend Clara and Assia any workaway offers. workaway should remove these people from the platform immediately.
Super cool experience! We stayed with Dave for one week and helped him organise an event. The work was fun and we felt super welcomed at his place. One of the best Workaway experiences I've ever had! Originally planned for just two weeks, but ended up extending my stay with Dave and his two adorable dogs. The atmosphere, the team, everything was just perfect. Being part of a group of Workawayers made the experience even more enjoyable.

As for the work, we helped set up DJ sets for Dave's organized evenings, cleaned boats, tidied up the house... Nothing too demanding.
Dave, our host, welcomed us with open arms, took us on a day trip to Rottnest Island on his boat, invited us to his parties and to his villa in Bali, and even lent us his car for excursions. He's just amazing.

Most EXCITING workaway ever!!
We spend almost a week with Dave =)
The place is amazing, his house is a beautiful villa on the Perth's Hills in Kalamanda, surrounded by forest and kangaroos!
We helped Dave around the house and to set up for an event. The work is not difficult and leaves many free time.

Don't forget to take off Cheeker and Deaver! Two little dogs that you'll love!
We were with other two workawayers, Moka and Marine, we really had nice time together, also a really nice walk around the park where you'll can see kangaroos in their natural environment!!

Dave’s place was absolutely awesome! Really big gorgeous house with a nice pool and two cute dogs. We had a great time and experienced so many new things! We will never forgot our two weeks there.
