  Now in the beginning Spring we need help again with maintaining the beds and the area (cutting bushes, pulling weeds, straightening fences).
  At the same time, the dogs, cats and chickens run around and make us happy when the work gets a bit annoying.
  We live our dream on a small farm with lots of animals: donkeys, goats, sheep, chickens, cats and dogs. My son Nils (30 years old) and I (Astrid, 56 years old) live here on the outskirts of the small town of Preetz near Kiel. There are many lakes in the area and the Baltic Sea is not far away.
  
  We have many visitors on our farm who spend time with me and the animals. Dealing with the animals, which are trained for social work, especially helps people with impairments or problems. We also take in guest dogs from time to time, which then share our everyday life with us.
  
  We run the farm as a part-time job and work full-time outside of our farm.
  
  Our large property and the animals require a lot of care. We would like help with this. In particular, we need help with the maintenance of the beautifully landscaped garden and the pastures.
  
  We are a non-smoking farm and therefore do not want to accommodate smokers.

  Wir benötigen jetzt am Beginn des Frühlings wieder Hilfe bei der Instanthaltung der Beete und des Geländes (Büsche schneiden, Unkraut zupfen, Zäune richten).
  Nebenbei laufen die Hunde, Katzen und Hühner und erfreuen uns, wenn uns die Arbeit mal etwas lästig wird.
  Wir leben unseren Traum auf einem kleinen Hof mit vielen Tieren: Esel, Ziegen, Schafe, Hühner, Katzen und Hunde. Mein Sohn Nils (30 Jahre) und ich (Astrid, 56 Jahre) leben hier am Rande der Kleinstadt Preetz in der Nähe von Kiel. In der Umgebung befinden sich viele Seen und auch die Ostsee ist nicht weit entfernt.
  
  Wir haben auf unserem Hof viele Besucher*innen, die mit mir und den Tieren Zeit verbringen. Der Umgang mit den Tieren, die für soziale Arbeit ausgebildet sind, hilft besonders Menschen mit Beeinträchtigungen oder Problemen. Außerdem nehmen wir von Zeit zu Zeit Gasthunde auf, die dann mit uns unser alltägliches Leben teilen.
  
  Wir betreiben den Hof im Nebenerwerb und sind hauptberuflich außerhalb unseres Hofes tätig.
  
  Unser großes Grundstück und die Tiere benötigen viel Pflege. Dabei wünschen wir uns Hilfe. Insbesondere bei der Pflege des schön angelegten Gartens und der Weiden benötigen wir Hilfe.
  
  Wir sind ein Nichtraucher-Hof und möchten deshalb keine Raucher*innen aufnehmen.

  We have one nicely furnished guest room in our house, which we provide for workawayers. Good internet (WiFi) is available. Bathroom and kitchen are shared. Dogs and cats live with us in the house.
  
  Wir haben in unserem Haus ein freundlich eingerichtetes Gästezimmer, das wir für Workawayer*innen zur Verfügung stellen. Gutes Internet (W-Lan) ist vorhanden. Bad und Küche werden gemeinsam genutzt. Hunde und Katzen leben mit uns im Haus.

  Wir wohnen hier, wo andere Urlaub machen. Die Holsteinische Schweiz ist bekannt für die vielen alten Gutshöfe und Herrenhäuser. Außerdem ist Lübeck immer eine Reise wert.
