My time spent with Silvia, Eros and their children was completely wonderful, they are a beautiful couple who’s kindness and generosity is inspiring. i can truthfully say their way of life has influenced myself moving forward , especially in the kitchen 😁. Eros was an amazing cook and his knowledge and passion for food was fabulous.

… read more accommodation was a bell tent, tastefully decorated and very comfortable, we would listen every evening to the array of animals making themselves hard , very loud and totally brilliant experiences !
We worked on the land, made marmalade and helped with some sewing projects.in our free time we walked to the local villages, relaxed by the pool and in our last evening climbed the mountain with Eros and Luca behind the finca, amazing views , such a beautiful place.
I felt very relaxed and welcomed for my entire stay , i made some truly amazing memories that i will cherish for ever😁.

From the moment my friend Gill and I arrived for our week’s stay, till the moment we left, this experience was a complete joy. Silvia and Eros were the most welcoming, warm, open and creative couple, who provided an amazing experience on their wonderful land, in return for our work. Their two sons Luca and Pascal, whom they home educate, were

Everything about this stay was a pleasure. We slept soundly in their beautiful and comfortable bell tent, falling asleep to a cacophony of frogs ribbetting, During the days we worked on their land mainly weeding veg plots and borders, undertook some cooking tasks (including making marmalade as part of home education for their lovely younger son Luca) and Gill worked with Silvia on a variety of sewing tasks.
Silvia has a fabulous eye for design and Eros turns his hand to all sorts of developments on their beautiful land full of orange and lemon trees, veg, fruit, their chickens (the girlies), an Inca garden and lots more. Eros is an amazing cook so we ate incredible meals and snacks with the family, drank wine together, and learnt a lot from them about food, culture, and history which straddled their international backgrounds and the local Andalusian area. The discussions during meals and tasks were full of colour, humour and interest. When we weren’t working we had full use of their beautiful pool and also visited the two towns closest to their Finca - Alora and Pizarra, the former being particularly picturesque with its hilltop castle.
At the end of the week we were treated to a fabulous walk up the hills behind their home, to see a Roman Queen’s Bath and the meadows and flowers in the countryside. Not to mention a delightful meal in a local restaurant on the day we left. But be warned, Eros and Silvia’s family, their land, home, animals and views are addictive…if you are like us, you may not want to leave the Finca!Comentário

I had a great stay with Silvia, Eros and their kids Luca and Pascal. As a British-Italian family living in Spain, I was assured to improve at least one of my latin languages ;)
I slept in the revamped horse trailer that was located near the water basin so I would drift off while listening to frog concerts and the deck in front of the trailer

Eros is a fast-paced, handyman that can hustle up crafty, simplistic solutions in no time and he's also a great cocinero so he often has a lot of balls in the air, while Silvia is a visionair, has a great eye for design and details, the bathroom they finished during my stay is a good example of that. I enjoyed the time I spent with them and the interplay of the family a lot. I helped Silvia and Eros preparing their land for a retreat by landscaping, weeding, putting up tents, cleaning, organizing, making pallet beds etc. Combine that with permaculture lessons about hügelbeds and inca-styled gardens, relaxing in the pool, superb Italian food by Eros, simply bonkers chocolate creations by Luca, nice places to visit and great hikes in the area, good after-dinner talks that, somehow, became later and later, haha... and you start to get an idea about my stay and this chapter in my journey.
The first retreat was a success and I wish them lots of luck and fun when hosting more this season!
I should not forget to mention that Silvia and Erios were so kind to lend me two tents so I, and three German travellers I met on the road, were able to volunteer at a festival in the region of Cadiz. THANK YOU!

It was completely beautiful to have met this beautiful family!!! From the first day I arrived, I knew that they were going to keep a place in my heart... We had a pleasant three weeks here and learned a great deal from Erros who is very knowledgable about plants and nature as well as being a wonderful cook. Despite a series of minor catastrophes
with plumbing our hosts were always cheerful and happy.
This is a great place to stay if you are prepared to work hard and want to know more about nature.
