  I am a solo British woman who has lived half her life in France and the other in the UK; currently living in the most beautiful and hottest (!) regions of France, by the sea, with its marine reserve & mountains, filled with wine!
  I am obsessed with up-cycling and using abandoned materials and objects in my interior design work. I collect sea glass and try to eat well, love scented plants & have 57 years as well as many diplomas!….

  I am an artist / designer. I also trained and practiced as a well being therapist (Massage, yoga, Ayerveda); I can exchange on these subjects, but I no longer practice massages. I can cook home made food, use of a car possible for down time

  Today, because I have an autoimmune disease, I can no longer undertake physical work myself and would like to rely on someone (a couple) to help me finish works and little by little this will create the spaces that other volunteers will use; collecting and working with  locally collected & up-cycled materials.There are 2 spaces, a ground floor unit and a loft on the 2nd floor. You will be going up and down a lot here so you must be light on your feet & physically fit! Tools will be provided for making holes and cutting wood and Painting work.....

  Acomodação

  Own Room in apartment, You will have use of the kitchen, with limited cold storage; Sheets & towels provided if necessary (to be discussed in advance); 5 mins to the beach... The views are stunning and there is an opportunity to learn about the history of the village, Catalan culture, protected costal activity, diving, fishing etc (Train station outside property)

  For over 30 years, I worked & travelled over most continents both professionally and touristicly
  My past was filled with many personal and professional creative architectural projects, where my role was to design (and sometimes fit out) spaces and manage projects; I would always take part in the physical building or refurbishment of my own habitations and on workaway I have helped with some fantastic building projects myself.
  Pictures speak louder than words, so I will let you have a look at the photos here, which are an disorganized selection of projects and scenery, with a cute dog to seduce you into helping me out.
  
  There are stunning hikes in the area and rich culture, as has Collioure, famous for its artists of the past, or Dali’s house on the coastline in Spain. From the creeks and beaches in Port Vendres you can see the snow topped mountains of the Canigou. All well served by transport. It’s a little hidden French secret here, you will not be disappointed.
  
  Before arrival I will need a Copy of your passport
  To be sure that there are no gaps in the planning and that I can offer this great collaboration with other over the summer, if you decide to leave early, 24hrs notice is required, so I can replace you quickly!...All questions welcome and please provide your dates on the first contact message; In August & September I can accommodate last minute volunteers

  I dont have a stable internet connection, I use a shared connexion and local wifi is not good.

  I have a small but 'undogfriendly' terrier. He loves people however and if you have a dog, he'll be under orders to accomodate (as he does!)
