  We need help in our local shop and helpers for the olive harvest on Zakynthos, Greece
  
  Me and my family have been growing olives and other vegetables for 4 generations. We also run a beautiful fruit and vegetable store in a village in the south of Zakynthos.
  
  We need people to work in the local fruit and vegetable store. It is not a physically demanding job, but you should be open and communicative and willing to learn about our products and advise our customers.
  We offer accommodation and 3 meals per day for the summer job. You will share a bungalow with 1-2 other people.
  
  We are still looking for people to help us with the olive harvest. It's a tough task and you need to be able to work with heavy machinery and lift sacks of olives weighing up to 50 kg. The good thing about it is that you will be physically very fit after the harvest :) This job will be paid the minimum wage of Greece and we offer accommodation as well.

  The family is very international. Nikos Wife is Italian and lives partly in Vienna. She is an artist. It’s fun, there are always friends around. You will learn a lot about the Greek culture, olive harvest, animal care and farming life in general in village on a Greek island.

  There is a small container next to the main house that can house 3 people and that has a shared bathroom and a small kitchen.

  You will help 4-5 hours per day in the local shop, either morning or evening shift. The rest of the day you can explore the island, visits the city and go swimming. We are flexible about the days and working hours so we will discuss that individually with you so that everyone is happy :) This job is not paid but we offer accommodation and 3 meals per day. Still you need to be registered for the job. So please only apply if you consider to stay at least one month. Ideally the whole 3 months.
  
  We start with the olive harvest. It's a hard job so if you are not used to physical work this might be too much for you. We usually start in the morning at 8 and finish around 4 in the afternoon with a lunch break in between. we have some beautiful olive groves with a nice view over the Ionian sea and with our goats and sheeps around us (they help us as they fertilize the earth on our organic groves). This help will be paid and includes also accommodation and lunch.
