  We are an easy-going married couple Renata (53) and Bango (65) living in Stobrec near Split. Bango works and I don't work. We've been married for 30 years. Our house is 10 min walk from the beach and 15 min walk from a nearby river Žrnovnica with a beautiful promenade. The climate is very nice with lots of "spring" days during winter and really hot summer. We are hikers and spend most weekends hiking (but not in summer, it's too hot). Split is a 1700 year old city that offers all in one - Diocletian's Palace (on the UNESCO's list of protected heritage), beautiful nature, night life, museums, entertainment and outdoor and indoor activities. With mountains in the north, islands in the south, small towns and coastal villages close to Split there's plenty to see and do during your stay here. I'm a smoker and we have a cat Žućko.

  Ajuda

  We can provide accommodation only in exchange of 3 hours work per day, weekends off. Unfortunately, we can't provide the food. I (Renata) need help with cleaning our apartment (a MUST - at least part of the time) learning Italian (intermediate) or German (beginner) - native speakers only!, gardening, computer (Excel), using technology at work, or any skills you may offer that might be interesting to me.
  We could make a cooking arrangement or the helper could use the kitchen and prepare her/his own meals.

  I'm fluent in English and could use it as a base language to improve my Italian (B1) and German (A2) with native speakers. I'll be happy to help you learn some basic Croatian.

  Acomodação

  We have a really nice 2 bedroom apartment near the beach and the helper would have her/his own room. We would share the bathroom and the kitchen. The internet is free.
