I had such an amazing experience with this family. The children are lovely and never tired to learn, talk and play. Roberto and Laura welcomed me in their lovely family and I felt as a part of it from day one! They were always here to help me when I had problems and to advise me for taking the best decisions.
Everything was great; The food that
… read more both Laura and Roberto cooked was delicious! They were really funny and talkative, so I could practise a lot my Italian with them.
The children could not be more cute and nice. I really felt as their big sister when I was with them.
Furthermore, I could not be better situated in Rome, close to everything, it was splendid. I had a lot of free time and therefore had much time to visit the city. My time with them was splendid and I could not name one negative point...

This was my first work-away-‚job‘ and it couldn‘t have been better. Laura, Roberto and especially the kids make you feel like a Part of the Family from the First Second on. The kids are kind, very well behaved and also a lot of fun and not shy at all. They are raised with a lot of love!
I had a great room to myself and I was free to use the rest
… read more of the place as well! You can cook, watch TV etc.
I also lived directly in the center of Rome, so everything I wanted to visit there was in walking distance. There are also different Metros very near. Also a Language School is a 3-Minute-Walk away!
Laura and her husband will always try to help you with your weekend-trips or other questions!
I had a lot of free time throughout the week and also the weekends were free.
I couldn‘t have wished for a better family and I will really miss the dinners and the kids!

Their home is lovely and you will be treated as a part of the family. The location in the centre of Rome is perfect, and there is something for everyone in this amazing place, the most beautiful city!
If you are looking for a Workaway experience with a family in Rome and to teach your native language, then these are the nicest people you can find. I can say that it is the best experience I have had with a host family and I am so grateful for this opportunity. Thank you so much Laura, Roberto and the children. I had an excellent experience with Laura and her family. They are very welcoming and friendly, and made me feel apart of the family immediately. They are so generous and kind. She cooks healthy and delicious dinners all the time. The three children are super sweet, funny and intelligent. When they come home from school, we talk, play and eat
… read more together. They also learn fast, and with practice and patience they learn new english and french words everyday. They are so polite and well behaved, you will love them for sure.
I had a really nice room to myself, very comfortable and cozy with TV.
I also had a lots of free time during the day when the children are at school.
Their home is in a great location close to many shops and beautiful sightseeing locations that is within walking distance. I love walking around during the day and discovering new things, or just enjoying some coffee in the afternoon in the bar. I also had the weekends off.
This was a wonderful experience for me here in Rome. It was nice to stay with a lovely family, and feel included and surround by three lovely children definitely makes this experience forever memorable. The location of their home is amazing too and it is a great opportunity to see Rome.
