Nesteled between the bay and the Tweleve Bens Beal Chara is a beautiful peaceful secluded area where I try to encourage people to slow down by being with nature and have a home massage clinic. The Atlantic is literally twenty steps from my doorstep so mornings start with a refreshing swim. The wild Atlantic makes it difficult to plant food and trees, so it is a constant challenge BUT a very rewarding one. My plan is to build a tiny house and try to live off the land forging for herbal remedies. Seaweed is also on our doorstep and harvesting and creating foods and healing excited me.
I have a beautiful caravan with a kitchen, gas heating and electricity and outdoor toilet so you would have your own space.
I would love help with moving out of my house with the hope of renting it out for retreats and moving into the chalet next door for a simpler life.

Connemara is packed with Irish cultural, it's the place that time forgot, fluent Irish is spoken here, traditional boat building and sailing and it is overflowing with Irish music with local musicians.

I spend my first workawayer's experience at Veronica's place.and it couldn't be better. Everything was great, but the place itself was the best. I spend there almost two weeks and was only once outside the surrounding (in Connemara National Park, which is also stunning place), because I found my long walks at he coast, small and bigger beaches and… read more rocks, as well as admiring views and ocean not far from house so calming and good for my soul :). Veronica is really nice person, understanding and respecting others (the same as her children - they are really cool), but she is also full of energy. Veronica, I would like to thank you and your family for the possibility to spend some nice time at your place and wish all of you good luck ♡

My only regrets with going to Ireland and staying with Veronica is not being able to have done more to help achieve her dream, It seems to me that most of her dreams are already met. Two wonderful children good friends and a pretty cool puppy dog. Also living with panoramic beauty of nature all around. And let's not forget a thriving massage and… read more yoga classes. But the dream of rebuilding the family home is truly noble, it will happen.

How can I describe in simple words how wonderful and amazing my stay with Veronica was...because it was! Was I dreaming? I loved everything about this workaway that never really felt like one. First you'll arrive and discover this house a little lost in this beautiful, magical place in the middle of nowhere called Connemara in Galway in the Ouest… read more side of Ireland. Second you'll be having dinners among friends that will feel like a family with a view over the sea, and finally you'll get to meet the diamond of it all: Veronica, the jewel of Connemara. She has this kind giant heart, and from those serious moment where the soul is raw and pure to the laughs and giggles all eyes and ears you will feel that you have found a place called home.
