  Hi gorgeous people! We are an English and love-based Cafe in Da Nang City, Central Vietnam where local people can come to practice their English and exchange cultures with foreigners.
  
  🎯 Our mission is to
  
  - Create a friendly atmosphere for local people to practice their English freely, make mistakes freely, and improve it steadily, and for foreigners to learn the local culture, and lifestyles and make meaningful connections with Vietnamese friends.
  - Help passionate individuals to learn English to be able to communicate fluently in English.
  
  We organise weekly shows: Movie discussions, Game & Talk shows, Live Acoustic Music...You may be invited as a guest speaker to share with Vietnamese students about your country, your school, your journey, your knowledge in certain fields...
  Many students here can be tour guides to take you around Da Nang City so that they can practice their English and exchange culture with foreigners.
  
  Work is about 4-5 days/week, depending on our timetable and the shift is 3-3.5hr/day with mostly evening shifts for weekdays and morning for the weekend.

  Lastly, we have been building up this active, dynamic community for almost 10 years now, from the very beginning to nowadays with love and intention, and yet still we're encountering mistakes or incompleteness sometimes but every mistake or success is a lesson to learn from. We do and encourage you to try your best to learn together and learn from each other.
  
  Therefore, we truly hope that once you come, regardless of what your background is, you will find our cafe an ideal place to relax, learn, and emerge in the wonderful culture of Vietnam through knowledge-exchanging, engaging and mind-opening conversation.   Since our cafe is education-centric and love-based , we aim to create atmosphere for members can enjoy chatting with everyone, from local to foreigners. Our local friends, would be really happy to befriend and get along with you. Some can ask you out to try foods or go explore the city together. You're encouraged to be eager, open to new things in a way that could enhance the meaningfulness of your trip and also to acquire new interpersonal skills, to gain perspective from learning about Vietnamese lifestyle, culture, which you could hardly learn from any city tours.

  Ajuda

  What we ask from the volunteers:
  
  + CLASSES:
  
  - Help us with our English classes: we have adult classes and once a week they'll have a reviewing session where students review the lessons + practice speaking. There will be one regular Vietnamese teacher who helps with translation and your job will be to ask the questions given + give feedback (pronunciation, grammar, coherence...). If you happen to have any ideas on games or creative, funny teaching methods, please go ahead and implement them!
  
  - Help us with our kids' class: we have 3 groups of kid students (6-10yr old and 3-6 yr old) with 2 lessons per week.
  For those who have had experience working with children, these might be your places. You're free to teach the children in whichever way you want to, as long as it keeps the class in a proper and fun atmosphere. The 3-6 yr old group, especially, requires a lot of energy.
  
  + THE CAFE:
  
  - Chat and have conversations with customers at the cafe about multiple topics.
  This is a pretty laid-back job but also requires a certain amount of energy. We're looking for outgoing, chatty people who specifically love to talk and be able to host a group of 2-5 students to make them practice speaking (some can be a bit passive at times)
  You can discuss and talk about any topics that you're interested in, or follow students' topics and expand them along.
  
  - Observe and plan the weekly activities for the cafe (Plan - Content - Script ...). We usually have shared - discussing - Q&A shows with 1-2 volunteers as the hosts. We welcome any of you who have had experience with this before and appreciate any idea you might have.
  We usually discuss the activities together 3-4 days in advance. We do have ideas for each time but it would also be very cool to have fresh new suggestions.

  We have volunteers coming from different countries all over the world. Besides English-focused, our amazing community also loves to learn any new languages: Spanish, Italian, French, German, Portugese, Chinese, Japanese...

  Acomodação

  We offer you two options:
  
  - The first option includes free accommodation: a bed in a mixed dormitory at our neighbor's hostel. The hostel is a 30-minute walk from our cafe. Moreover, The hostel offers city tours, motorbike rental at a very reasonable price (not including the fee for common accidents related to the cover of the motorbike) and some other facilities (kitchen, shower, towel, cheap laundry service, game room, wifi, all day AC...)
  
  - The second option includes a free motorbike or scooter while you are volunteering with us.
  
  - We also offer a one-million-dong allowance per month to those who stay in Da Nang for at least 3 months and already have their accommodation and scooter.
  
  *Your first drink of choice (from the cafe menu) will be served free during your working shift. From the second it will get a 50% discount.

  We are 3.5km away from the airport, 2km away from bus and train station. Our café is located on one of the most busy roads of the city so if you don't have driving license, Grab and foot will be your bestie!

  We offer accommodation and working place (our office room) with free wifi and AC. As shifts are mainly in the evening from 6pm you will have the whole morning as well as afternoon for your personal work.
