  WHO WE ARE: (no business Host)
  We are a farm located in the heart of Sicily in a beautiful regional park called Madonie,
  where we starting a new Eco-Friendly Bio and Green project, among uncontaminated nature and birdsongs is possible to admire and enjoy the scenic beauty of the area.
  Our farm is part of a concept that combines climate change and food consumption. It is a movement that encourages people to rethink their food choices in order to reduce carbon footprint and help mitigate the effects of climate change. The idea behind it is that by changing what we eat and how we eat it, we can reduce the amount of greenhouse gases produced by agriculture, transportation and food waste. It encourages people to consume locally sourced, seasonal foods, as well as reduce meat consumption and choose plant-based options. It also emphasizes the importance of reducing food waste by buying only what we need and using all parts of the food we have.
  LOCATION:
  We are 10 minutes away from Caltavuturo in the Palermo province a town of about 4000 souls, located between see and mountains in the Northern’s Imera valley river, about 60 km east of Palermo and 25km sud from the see. The village is located at an altitude of about 700 meters above sea level, surrounded by beautiful mountains, making it an ideal destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Its privileged position gives it a cool and dry climate during the summer. A place characterized by tranquility and the presence of various attractions, such as monumental rock ridges that can be climbed at any time of the year. Caltavuturo is practically surrounded by these rock formations where there are sport climbing and mountaineering routes and also beautiful trails on Rocca di Sciara with a height of 1080m for hiking enthusiasts ,ranging from easy to challenging enjoying panoramic views of the landscape.

  Visit Palermo city explore the historic center of Palermo and its landmarks such as the Cathedral, the Royal Palace, the Norman Palace and the Quattro Canti.
  Go to the beach, Palermo province has some of the most beautiful beaches Sicily , such as Mondello, Cefalu' 30 minutes away from as and San Vito lo Capo.
  Visit Monreale this charming hilltop town is known for its stunning Norman Cathedral and its impressive Byzantine mosaics.
  Go to the Zingaro Nature Reserve this protected area is perfect for hiking , swimming and enjoying the beautiful coastline.
  Visit the Greek ruins of Segesta this ancient archaeological site is home to a well-preserved Greek temple and a theater.
  Try the local cuisine and Palermo is famous for its delicious street food, such as arancini , panelle e sfincione.
  Take a day trip to the Aeolian islands these stunning islands are located off the coast Sicily and are known for their volcanic landscapes, crystal-clear waters and beautiful beaches.

  Help with our Eco project, gardening, farm and general Maintenance, animal care, help with computers/internet or around the house.
  We also need help with Olives picking between September/November.
  Our idea is really easy, you can decide which kind of tasks would you like to do at most.
  We do not expect professionals but people that would like to learn something new in a quiet and nice atmosphere.
