Hello! We are Paloma (Chilean), Francesca (USA) and Andrea (Chilean), the three of us work in a Biointensive Organic Garden belonging to a Hotel located in the Torres del Paine National Park, Magallanes Region, Chile. This project is almost 6 years old and was born out of the need to consume foods of high nutritional quality and in order to be able to reduce the carbon footprint due to the geographical location where we are located. We produce in a clean and conscientious way all the food that is consumed in the Hotel, shelters and for the collaborators who work in this place.
Five years ago we created a volunteer program where we have received people from all over the world, thus creating not only symbiotic natural networks but also human networks that have helped us enrich our work and time in the Huerta.

Hola! Somos Paloma (Chilena), Francesca (USA) y Andrea (Chilena), las tres trabajamos en una Huerta orgánica Biointensiva perteneciente a un Hotel ubicado en el Parque Nacional Torres del Paine, Región de Magallanes, chile. este proyecto tiene ya casi 6 años y nace por la necesidad de consumir alimentos de alta calidad nutricional y con el fin de poder disminuir la huella de carbono por el lugar geográfico donde nos ubicamos. producimos de manera limpia y consciente todos los alimentos que se consumen en el Hotel, refugios y para los colaboradores que trabajan en este lugar.
Hace 5 años creamos un programa de voluntariado donde hemos recibido gente de todas partes del mundo, creando así no solo redes naturales simbióticas si no también redes humanas que nos han ayudado a enriquecer nuestro trabajo y tiempo en la Huerta.

They will be able to learn from this new model of agriculture in order to be more and more self-sufficient, a very important cultural exchange is also generated since we have volunteers from all over the world. They will also be able to visit and tour the Eighth Wonder of the World, since our garden is located in the heart of the Torres del Paine National Park.
Podrán aprender de este nuevo modelo de agricultura para poder ser cada vez mas auto suficientes, también se genera un intercambio cultural muy importante ya que tenemos voluntarios de todas partes del mundo. también podrán conocer y recorrer la Octava maravilla del mundo, ya que nuestra huerta se encuentra ubicada en el corazón del Parque Nacional Torres del Paine.
We are looking for people who are proactive, who like nature, outdoor life and work in the fields. We need help for clean food production, composting, harvesting, post-harvesting, and garden maintenance.
Buscamos gente que proactiva, que le guste la naturaleza, la vida outdoor y trabajo en el campo. necesitamos ayuda para la producción de alimentos limpios, trabajo en el compost, cosechas, post cosecha y mantenimiento de la huerta.

The accommodation for volunteers is a Dome surrounded by nature, we have 4 volunteers per month, for that reason accommodation is shared with men and women, they have electricity, heating and internet. The bathrooms (one for men and one for women) are located about 50 meters away, equipped with showers and toilets.
Inside the park there is no signal, only internet.
Accommodation and 4 meals a day are provided to volunteers.
El alojamiento para los voluntarios es un Domo rodeado de naturaleza, tenemos 4 voluntarios por mes, por esa razón se comparte alojamiento con hombres y mujeres, cuentan con electricidad, calefacción e internet. Los baños ( uno para hombres y otro para mujeres) se encuentra a unos 50mts equipados con Duchas y WC.
Dentro del parque no hay señal, sólo internet.
Se provee a los voluntarios de alojamiento y 4 comidas al día.
In their free time they can tour the park or go to the nearest town, which is Puerto Natales.
En sus tiempos libres pueden recorrer el parque o ir a recorrer el pueblo más cercano que es Puerto Natales.
