Living in a young, large family
We are a family of 7 who have been Workaway hosts since 2012, years ago in Moorburg/Hamburg. Our children Piet (13), Kajo (11), John (10) and Luke (4) and Nora (2) like to keep us busy. The most important thing is to get help around the house, like cleaning up the kitchen in the evening, vacuming, washing clothes, cleaning windows, movming the lawn and sometimes doing special household chores. Then there is the house building project. Complete. Then there are other jobs such as painting, woodworking, gardening, cooking (because we work) with us you will find almost any job that you enjoy. Depending on the time and the time we have available. Your room is in a beautiful trailer, see photos. In winter you can heat the trailer with the wood stove. Many encounters take place. We eat together, live together, play together, (argument together). We love to hear stories from you and enjoy that we have your support in our everyday life. We cook vegan, vegetarian or with meat, so we are open to everything. With five children, life with us is colorful, loud and funny and sometimes a little wild! From Bad Oldesloe you have a great connection by train to Hamburg (25min) and also to Lübeck, and you can go on a relaxed tour of the city. You are welcome to borrow a bike from us. In summer we like to go to the lake and canoe. We look forward to you.
Leben in einer jungen,grossen Familie
Wir sind eine 7 Köpfige Familie, die seit 2012 Workaway host sind, vor Jahren noch in Moorburg/Hamburg. Das wichtigste ist uns Hilfe im Haushalt zu bekommen, so wie abends die Küche auf zuräumen, Saugen, Wäsche waschen,Fensterputzen,Rasenmähen und mal spezial Aufgaben im Haushalt zu erledigen.
Dann gibt es noch das Projekt Haus ausbauen,bzw. Fertig stellen.
Dann kommen andere Arbeiten dazu wie z.b..Streichen,Holz.bearbeiten,Garten gestaltung,Kochen( da wir arbeiten)bei uns findest du fast jede Arbeit, die dir Spaß macht.
Je nach Zeit und die wir zur Verfügung haben.
Dein Zimmer befindet sich in einem wunderschönen Bauwagen, siehe Fotos. Im Winter darfst Du mit dem Holzofen den Bauwagen heizen.
Es finden viele Begegnungen statt. Wir essen gemeinsam, leben gemeinsam,spielen gemeinsam,( Streiten gemeinsam).
Wir lieben es Geschichten von Dir zu hören und geniessen es, dass wir deine Unterstützung in unserem Alltag haben.
Wir kochen vegan, vegetarisch oder mit Fleisch,da sind wir offen für alles.
Mit fünf Kindern ist das Leben bei uns bunt, laut und lustig und manchmal ein wenig wild!
Von Bad Odlesloe aus hat man eine super Anbindung per Bahn nach Hamburg (25Min) und auch nach Lübeck, und kann ganz entspannt auf Stadterkundung gehen.Gerne kannst du ein Fahrrad von uns borgen.
Im Sommer sind wir gerne am Badesee und fahren Kanu.

From Bad Oldesloe you can quickly reach Lübeck and Hamburg. Trains run about 30 minutes to the cities. In Bad Oldesloe you can unwind with a walk in the moor. There is a lake for swimming and the city can be reached on foot in 15 minutes.
Aus Bad Oldesloe ist man schnell in Lübeck und in Hamburg. Züge fahren ca. 30 min. In die Städte.
In Bad Oldesloe kann man die Seele baumeln lassen,bei einem spaziergang im Moor. Es gibt direkt ein See zum Schwimmen und die Stadt ist zu Fuss in 15 min. erreicht.
