what a pleasure to host Solene and John were. They were very good company friendly and helpful. No task was too much from weed eating to chain sawing plus general gardening and doing dishes. We were very sorry to see them go and would have kept them for weeks if we had had the choice.Their English was certainly good enough for good conversation

Where to start?! It's the best way to begin our journey in new zealand and our first experience of workaway. Can not dream better. Marie, Tom and Bessy (always include the dog in the family) are wonderful. The place is amazing. It was great to work in that garden and that house. We shared a lot with theim. Eliot was the perfect workaway, friendly ,industrious,never a timewatcher, willing and helpful. He cooked a meal for us which was typical of the region he comes from in France and delicious it was too.Eliot has many practical skills which made him ideal for the varied work we required. We were sorry to see him leave and we would welcome him back

Mary and Tom were just so lovely with me. it's a very welcoming people who love sharing there way of life and talking.

Fabian was a pleasure to host and we were sorry to see him go. He was a friendly and willing helper with a range of skills and plenty of initiative.His English improved by the day and certainly didn’t inhibit his ability to communicate freely with us. We would certainly highly recommend him, and would have him back anytime.

Perfect workaway!
Marie and Tom (and all their family) are really kind, always here to help you and make you feel at home.
I stayed there for almost two weeks and it was just perfect for my first workaway experience.
The work is fair, in a really nice house with a beautiful garden and the view on the ocean.

… read more quickly and efficiently. We have lasting memories of them both with the steps and paths they constructed up a hillside on our property. They are not afraid of hard work and applied themselves to every task willingly. I would highly recommend them to any prospective host.

Adorable, funny and above all so endearing. We stayed at home for only a short week but we still could say it was our best workaway and it will definitely stay that way.
