  Hello everyone! My name is Sofia, and I'm looking for help with my project, in which I rescue stray dogs from the streets to give them a new, happy life. Until the animals find their forever homes, they need to be cared for, receive medical treatment, and be neutered. My shelter is located in Agiokampos/Larissa. It houses approximately 65 dogs and a few cats. I also have dogs and cats at home that also need care.

  Mein Name ist Sofia und ich suche nach Hilfe mit meinem Projekt, in welchem ich streunende Hunde von der Straße rette, um ihnen ein neues, schönes Leben zu ermöglichen. Bis die Tiere ihre Endstelle gefunden haben, müssen sie versorgt, ärztlich behandelt und kastriert werden.
  Mein Shelter befindet sich in Agiokampos / Larissa. In diesem befinden sich ca. 65 Hunde und ein paar Katzen. Zuhause habe ich auch Hunde und Katzen, die ebenso versorgt werden muessen.

  Ajuda

  I'm looking for someone to help me with the dogs. It's important to me that you have experience working with dogs. This doesn't mean you have to have worked with street dogs before, but you shouldn't be afraid of dogs and should be willing to get your hands dirty. Overall, it's important that you're reliable, independent, and have a heart for dogs.
  
  My daily routine:
  7:00 a.m. Feeding at home and walks.
  8:00 AM Drive to the shelter
  -> Administer pills
  -> Feed cats
  -> Feed/clean puppies/rinse bowls/clean runs/let puppies out
  -> Feed/clean dogs/rinse bowls/provide fresh water daily/provide exercise
  -> Walk the dogs (my dogs are used to being on a leash and look forward to every walk)
  -> Clear doorways and pens of leaves and hair
  -> Brush dogs
  -> Clean runs and remove feces and weeds
  -> Wash and hang laundry
  -> Various repairs
  
  As I mentioned, the most important thing to me is that you love dogs and treat them accordingly. The help can be very demanding at times, but the closeness and happiness you get from the dogs is absolutely worth it in my opinion. Nevertheless, it's important for me to reiterate that working in an animal shelter is always physically and mentally exhausting.

  Ich suche nach Jemandem der mir mit den Hunden hilft, wobei es mir wichtig ist, dass du schon Erfahrung im Umgang mit Hunden hast. Dies meint nicht, dass du schonmal mit Straßenhunden gearbeitet haben musst, allerdings solltest du keine Angst vor Hunden haben und auch bereit sein, dir die Hände dreckig zu machen. Insgesamt ist es wichtig, dass du zuverlässig und selbständig bist und ein Herz für Hunde hast.
  
  Mein Tagesablauf:
  07:00 Zuhause füttern und Spaziergänge.
  08:00 Zum Shelter fahren
  -> Tabletten verabreichen
  ->Katzen füttern
  -> Welpen füttern/säubern/Näpfe spülen/Ausläufe reinigen/Welpen rauslassen
  ->Hunde füttern/säubern/Näpfe spülen/frisches Wasser täglich/für Auslauf sorgen
  -> Spaziergänge mit den Hunde (meine Hunde sind die Leine gewohnt und freuen sich auf jeden spaziergang)
  -> Durchgänge und Ställe von Blätter und Haaren befreien
  -> Hunde bürsten
  -> Ausläufe aufräumen und von Kot und Unkraut befreien
  -> Wäsche waschen und aufhängen
  -> diverse Reparaturarbeiten
  
  Wie bereits erwähnt ist mir am Wichtigsten, dass du Hunde liebst und sie dementsprechend behandelst. Der Job hier kann zeitweise sehr beanspruchend sein, aber die Nähe und das Glück, welches du von den Hunden zurückbekommst ist es in meinen Augen absolut wert. Trotzdem ist es mir wichtig noch einmal zu erwähnen, dass die Mitarbeit in einem Tierheim immer auch physich wie psychisch erschöpfend ist.
  
  Die Hunde und ich freuen uns auf eine schöne und aufregende Zeit mit dir und wenn du denkst, dass du mit dieser Art der Arbeit klarkommst, würde ich mich riesig darüber freuen dich hier an diesem wunderschönen Platz Erde willkommen zu heißen! 🙋‍♀️🏖

  I have a new tiny house with a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen-living room, which you can live in. (Max. 3 people)
  You can prepare your own meals in the kitchen. I provide one hot meal a day.
  
  My accommodation/home is across the street from the sea and invites you to go swimming after work.

  Ich habe ein neues Tiny House mit Schlafzimmer, Badezimmer und Wohnkueche, welches von Euch bewohnt werden kann. (Max 3 Personen)
  In der Kueche koennt ihr euch selbst verpflegen. Ich stelle eine warme Mahlzeit am Tag.
  Die Unterkunft/ Mein Zuhause liegt gegenueber vom Meer und laedt nach Feierabend zum Baden ein.

  Im Tinyhouse befindet sich eine Küche, wo selber Speisen zubereitet werden können.

  The nearest supermarkets, kiosks, bakeries, and fruit stands are all within walking distance. I also have bicycles you can use.
  
  
  Die nächsten Supermärkte, Kiosks, Bäckereien und Obststände sind allesamt fußläufig erreichen. Ausserdem habe ich Fahrraeder, die ihr nutzen koennt.
