Hello and a warm welcome!
My name is Reiner, I’m 61 years old, a physiotherapist and author from Germany, living in the quiet north of Corfu – surrounded by olive trees, Mediterranean sun, and a gentle calm that slows daily life and leaves room for real encounters. Since 2016, I’ve been welcoming travellers and curious visitors to experience island life up close and authentically. Workaway is still quite new to me, but I’m looking forward to meeting guests who enjoy sharing everyday moments, lending a hand, and discovering something new – whether about Greece, health, or simply life itself.
My home is simple and lovingly cared for, and I value cleanliness and a warm, relaxed atmosphere. Every guest is naturally welcome to help keep it pleasant for everyone – not as a “rule book”, but as a way of creating a nice space together.
Most guests choose to sleep outside under the olive trees, enjoying freedom, closeness to nature and a peaceful kind of privacy. Occasionally people ask about sleeping indoors, in the homely, shared yoga room – but that’s a very personal space, which I usually only offer to returning guests or to those with whom trust and a real sense of connection have already been built, maybe through a previous stay or an honest conversation before arrival. The important thing is that both of us feel it just fits.
The kitchen and the house are open to everyone daily between 08:00 and 20:00 for cooking, eating, or a morning coffee. Beyond that, how much time we spend together arises naturally: if the chemistry is right, if we feel comfortable, and if our daily rhythms align, we might share more. Those moments can’t be forced – they grow from mutual sympathy and a shared flow.
Helping & interaction:
How much time we spend together or work side by side varies with each guest. Some prefer more privacy, others enjoy joining in for meals, garden work, or small projects more often. Both ways are welcome here. Those who get more involved tend to share more of the everyday experience as well.
Length of stay:
Because this is a small project with limited space, stays usually start with a weekend or a few days. That way, we can get to know each other, sense whether the chemistry is right, and decide together whether we’d like to extend the time.
Genuine connection here is often found in small things: a meal cooked together, a short gardening task, a story shared, or simply sitting quietly and enjoying the view. There’s always room to step back when needed – with a book in the shade, a walk through the olive groves, or peaceful time to yourself.
Some guests like a lot of privacy, others enjoy shared activities – both are welcome, and everyone can find their own rhythm.Tipos de ajuda e oportunidades de aprendizado

How much you experience here depends entirely on your level of involvement.
If you prefer quiet and solitude, you’ll find plenty of space to relax, read, and simply enjoy the peace.
Those who want to join in activities can discover much more: from cooking Greek recipes and learning about island life and local culture, to picking up simple physiotherapy tips for relaxation and movement.
With guests who are on the same wavelength and where the mood fits, sometimes special experiences just happen naturally: trips to hidden beaches, a little sailing, or a long evening of good conversations. These moments have no set schedule—they grow from the chemistry and the sense that it’s simply right for both sides.
Here, all ways of spending your time are welcome: a peaceful afternoon in the garden, a solo walk by the sea, or discovering the island together—all at your own pace, with no pressure.Ajuda
I welcome open-minded people happy to support daily life—whether helping in the garden, around the house, or helping on the tiny apartment project. No experience is needed; what matters most is a positive attitude and the willingness to try new things.
Part of being together here is sharing simple chores: keeping the kitchen, bathroom, and other common areas clean, and taking care of the small daily tasks. The more you join in, the more real exchange and connection just naturally develop, often leading to memorable experiences—like cooking together, exploring the island, or simply enjoying good conversations.
As I also work part-time as a physiotherapist and focus on writing articles and creating videos, it’s not always possible to spend extended periods in the house with guests. But if we find a good rhythm and get along well, relaxed shared moments and a deeper sense of community happen easily and without pressure.Idiomas

For enjoying simple, natural camping, everything is prepared for you: a tent, sleeping mat, bedding or sleeping bag—all set for a safe and sheltered spot under the olive trees.
The planned tree tent with mosquito net will be available from 2026—a unique hangout floating in the trees.
Guests who wish to sleep indoors will be offered the yoga room only if they are returning friends or if we’ve established enough trust and connection. Sharing the house in this way is something special that arises from mutual understanding and isn’t offered to new arrivals.
The kitchen is available daily between 08:00 and 20:00 for cooking and meals, except when I’m seeing patients. In summer, the rooms stay unlocked to keep the air flowing and comfortable. The bathroom is always freely accessible to everyone.
This way, you always have a good mix of independence and shared spaces—just as you like.Algo mais...
Camping gear—tent, sleeping mat, sleeping bag—and shared spaces are available for you. Indoors sleeping is an option only for guests with a special connection or those returning for another visit; the new apartment will soon offer more privacy and independence.
The surroundings offer much to explore: beaches, clear swimming bays, hilly hiking trails, and quaint villages. You can swim, snorkel, cycle the island, or just relax on the terrace.
If it fits my schedule, I’m happy to help with transfers from the airport or port, and there are always tips for local excursions—often spontaneous, sparked by a good conversation.
Some guests prefer the quiet and privacy, while others are keen on sharing activities and community—here, both are possible and every kind of presence is welcomed.Mais alguns detalhes
