The local area is charming and authentic, with lobster fishing at the heart of the community and daily life shaped by the rhythm of the sea. Like the rest of the Bay of Fundy, Dipper Harbour is home to the world’s highest tides, creating a dramatic coastal landscape and influencing generations of local fishing traditions. Located within the Stonehammer UNESCO Global Geopark, the region offers a truly unique natural environment to explore, showcasing over a billion years of geological history from the Precambrian era to the Ice Age.

Deanna is passionate about sharing her knowledge of the geopark, local history, and the rich cultural heritage of Dipper Harbour, including stories of the families who first settled in the area. The nearby geosites and coastal scenery provide endless opportunities for discovery, whether you enjoy hiking, photography, wildlife, or simply taking in the beauty of the Bay of Fundy.

We’re conveniently located near Saint John and Fundy National Park, with easy access to a wide range of outdoor adventures and attractions. With a love of gardening, local culture, and meaningful connections, we enjoy welcoming guests and sharing the stories, traditions, and experiences that make this part of New Brunswick so special. As avid travellers ourselves, we especially value meeting people from around the world and exchanging stories and experiences from near and far.
