Hi! My name is Antonio, and I’m the owner of a small hotel on the beautiful island of Isola di San Pietro in Sardinia. I am also a member of Workaway, and I’ve volunteered in Italy and Portugal. I love to travel, meet new people, and discover new cultures and experiences. I especially love hosting people at my place, mainly to socialize and enrich myself with the genuine values that many travelers bring with them. I love being surrounded by nature and doing outdoor activities like hiking or simply spending the day at the beach. In my free time, you’ll likely find me swimming (even in the winter months!) or working outdoors on a DIY project using recycled materials. I also love cooking, reading and researching (any topic!), and art in general.

The 2026 season is almost wrapped up!
🛠️Now it's time to roll up our sleeves and resume our ongoing projects.From October through December, we’ll be focusing on a few carpentry projects and some garden care.
🍁 From October until the end of December:We’re looking for a handy helper to join us in the garden and help build cool outdoor furniture and other wooden projects.
❄️ Jan-Feb-Mar:We are taking a break and will be away from the site.
🌱 From April 2027 until June 2027:Help us get everything ready for the grand reopening! We'll need a hand especially with gardening and refreshing the outdoor painting.
☀️ From June 2027 to September 2027:Love the smell of fresh coffee? We’re looking for someone to help with breakfast (we bake amazing cakes and homemade bread!), assist with the laundry, or support our housekeeping team with room quality control.
🎨 Starting from September 2027:We are opening our doors to creative minds! We’d love to host artists who want to create and leave their artwork here. Show us your portfolio—we’d love to take a look. Come and be part of our artist residency!
⚠️ A FEW IMPORTANT NOTES:Length of stay: We ask for a minimum stay of one month, and we always give priority to volunteers who can stay longer. (We might occasionally accept shorter stays for last-minute openings).

Acomodação
My house is located in the countryside, steps away from my hotel. It is divided in two parts, where you will have your own private room and bathroom, and a simple kitchen. There is a big terrasse with breathtaking views where you can enjoy your morning coffee while listening to the birds and sounds of nature, and plenty of outdoor open space.
Sometimes we could host you in a private room in the hotel.
Aside from accommodation, I will provide meals or we can plan meals together after work usually for lunch.
I can provide food for your breakfast.
Dinners are not included as any meals on the days off but will be nice sometimes to organise a barbecue or something typical. -

The house is located within 5km of the beautiful city centre and harbour of Carloforte, and only a 15 min walking from the closest beach.
The island is protected and has incredible hiking/walking spots, beautiful beaches, and unspoiled nature. Diving, Sailing, Wind surf, Fishing, SUP and Scooter/bike rental is also available during the summer months. (I can however arrange to provide you with a bicycle should you desire).
