I am adventure guide in Greenland and taxi driver as well . I have houses in Aasiaat and Ilulissat in Greenland. I am developing adventure tourism in disco bay in Greenland. I need volunteers able to help to renovate an old houses and do some carpentry work and sometimes participate in short expeditions and preparations for adventure tours in winter and summer.
Note for volunteers :
Needed tough people who is not afraid to get hands dirty and able survive in Arctic nature.
Flight tickets are expensive!

If you want to get to know Greenland and life of people that is the best way for you. You will learn greenlandic history, meet local fishermen, hunters, and famous greenlandic sleddogs, experience greenlandic culture from inside. Volunteers will learn to drive snowmobiles, built real Iglo, and many more practiacal stuff.

I am renovating old houses in Greenland. One of them belonged to Jørgen Brønlund located in Aasiaat, Jørgen Brønlund was one of the first polar explorers exploring Greenland with Knud Rasmussen in Greenland. I needed handy people. I am going to build winter tents camp, and a couple of Iglo in the wilderness close to the ice fjord near Ilulissat in Greenland. I am looking for soulmate voluteers , tough people who is not afraid to challenge themselves in Arctic wilderness and able to participate in exploration by snowmobiles, boat, skiing, hiking, sleep in the tent in winter time, cook food, and help with different orders. If you want to challenge yourself, that volunteer job is definitely for you!
Appreciated ice climbing, climbing, kayaking, hiking, surviving skills, carpentry and mechanical knowledge.
Possible employment assistance in future.

I have one room that I can offer in Ilulissat. House has 2 bedrooms and huge living room kitchen. House in Ilulissat have already a tap water from the tank and Greenlandic old fashion toilet (kind of plastic bag in the bucket ) 😁
. House in Aasiaat has a room on the second floor and living room, most of the time we will stay together in the house but sometimes you will stay alone when I need to travel. I will pay common food, and house expenses!

My life is one big adventure, I challenge myself every day! Volunteers will have flexible schedule, when we are in town they can do things on their own demands go to fitness, sauna, do shopping. Meet locals learn the language, hike, sail and etc.
Possible work extra for money!

He can easily jump from carpentry to creative cooking food from what you have in the fridge ( good skills not only for Greenland)
Every time I am walking down stairs home reminds me about him.
I recommend him to any multipurpose job , he is good photographer as well and can tell a lot about stars !
Besides that Ivan is such a competent guy, always with something to do (so help is welcomed). He is a good cook as well ☝🏻
I still remember him every time I am opening my door , no more noise and key gets smooth to the lock , I did not even ask him to do it, he can think himself and fix things than needed to be fixed !
As I was with him out of season there weren't that many tours with tourists but I was still able to accompany ivan on every tour and saw so much of the area.
The accommodation is basic but has everything you need and Ivan makes sure you are comfortable.
