🌿 Looking for a lifestyle change? Slower pace, fresh air, real connection to the land and yourself?
Join our off-grid farm in central Portugal – a peaceful, wild place full of life, purpose, and growth.
☘️Who are we looking for?
A responsible individual or couple with some gardening experience, ready for some physical tasks like watering trees with buckets, simple farm maintenance, and nurturing the land.
Just 3 hours of work every two days.

🧭How long?
This opportunity runs through the current season – until the end of September – and if there's a great chimestry, it can grow into a long-term shared life project on the farm.
🏕The farm background
I’m Gali. I bought this land just four days before the devastating 2017 wildfire.
Since then, through love and resilience, the farm has come back to life – thriving with wildlife, fruit trees, forest, and meaningful human connections.
The land remains partially wild, to give space and freedom to nature do what wildlife do.
When people ask me, “What do you grow on your farm?” I always say:
“People.”
Because sometimes, the ones who come here find just the space they need to grow.

Sandomil village is classic Portuguese life style village. You can meet the locals which are highly friendly. There is a market once a month in which all the alternative community gather.
There are many hiking trails, wild life and traditional farm life around. -

Most of the work will be watering trees with buckes (there are taps in strategic places) garden watering , weeding, planting and forest cleaning.

The turtle farm is a sanctuary for some and preiods of self development taking place once in a while so Please be aware of that. Driking and smoking might sabotage practitioners effors. Therefore I usk to be sober, conscious and response able..
Independency is essential.
In your free time you can travel the mountains and valleys, see some markets go to some river beaches or write your book. You can learn Portuguese, Visit farms around, do your art or online projects. -

All in al was great to have him in my farm.
The place is beautiful ✨ and full of greenery everywhere, as well as a natural and calming energy. The farm is close by to an amazing river!! The work was fulfilling and aligned with the conditions Gali had described, and in return I received vegetarian food and accommodation.
