  Welcome to our paradise – Biguaçu, SC (Sorocaba do Sul district)
  
  Our space is a rural property located at the foot of the Serra do Tabuleiro, surrounded by the natural beauty of the countryside in Biguaçu, southern Santa Catarina. Here, we live in harmony with the sound of birds, the shade of the trees, and the crystal-clear waters of a river that runs through the land.
  
  We are at the beginning of an ecological and landscape restoration project, which includes reforesting degraded areas and revitalizing old structures on the property. There is a lot of work ahead, and we are looking for volunteers who want to contribute to this dream and, in exchange, live an experience of connection with the land, with people, and with the natural cycles.
  
  We have several areas of action:
  
  Renovation and maintenance of structures (main house, barns, outdoor areas);
  
  Support in general farm tasks and ecological land management, maintenance of springs, and water collection;
  
  Implementation of a nursery, chicken coop, and planting of native species;
  
  Support in maintaining trails, swimming areas, and small rustic constructions.
  
  The space offers simple and comfortable accommodations, a fully equipped kitchen, and common areas for rest and socializing. It's a great place for those who value the quiet of nature, enjoy hands-on work, and are open to learning and sharing.

  The region surrounding the place is rich in cultural and ecological experiences. Nestled in a rural community dedicated to cattle raising, dairy production, and organic vegetable farming, visitors can engage with local traditions and rhythms of country life. Nearby, indigenous villages offer opportunities for respectful cultural exchange, guided visits, and learning about ancestral knowledge and crafts. The landscape is interwoven with hiking trails that pass through native Atlantic Forest, leading to crystal-clear rivers and hidden waterfalls — ideal for immersive nature experiences, group adventures, and educational activities.

  We are currently looking for helping hands to support different tasks in our rural regeneration project. There’s a variety of meaningful work to be done, and we invite volunteers who enjoy physical activity, creativity, and connection with nature to join us!
  
  Current tasks include:
  
  Gardening and general landscaping
  
  Clearing parts of the land and trail maintenance
  
  Tree pruning
  
  Removing nails and processing reclaimed wood from a dismantled structure
  
  Selecting, cleaning, and organizing fabrics and sewing materials in our craft studio
  
  Collecting and sorting river stones for use in new constructions
  
  Producing seedlings and planting native species
  
  Building a chicken coop
  
  Various rural chores depending on the season
  
  Small-scale construction tasks: masonry, carpentry, woodworking, and painting
  
  
  We offer a beautiful setting surrounded by nature, a crystal-clear river, hiking trails, and peaceful work rhythms. Volunteers work from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., with afternoons free to relax, explore, or dedicate time to personal projects.

  Volunteer work on the property takes place in the morning from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. After this time, volunteers are free to explore the surroundings and engage in their personal activities.

  Private room with bathroom. Shared kitchen. Internet.
  
  Meals are part of the cultural experience. Whenever possible, meals are prepared and shared collectively, with the involvement of Workawayers and the activity coordinator. We see food as an opportunity for connection, learning, and exchange.
  
  Workawayers may be invited to participate in meal preparation as a collaborative and voluntary part of daily life on the site. Ingredients will be provided based on what is available seasonally and through local community markets. When shared meals are not possible, Workawayers will have access to the kitchen and receive all necessary ingredients to prepare their own meals comfortably.
  
  No charges, except if any food restrictions by any participant

  During free time, many outdoor activities are available nearby. A river with several waterfalls runs through the property. Visits to the indigenous villages can be scheduled with each of the indigenous leaders.
