I had an incredible time doing this workaway with Kevin. The gardens are absolutely stunning, and I thoroughly enjoyed helping out with various tasks around the property. Kevin is a great host, always taking the time to explain the work and ensuring I had everything I needed.

I am very pleased with my 4 weeks at Fedamore in the Limerick countryside. Clare and Kevin are perfect hosts ! They are generous, they listen, all is comfortable to make you feel at home. Just Taylor stayed with us in Coolwater and he was absolutely tops. Brilliant, fast, precise at every different job. Fitted in perfectly and he is very welcome to stay here again at the drop of a hat. Very highly recommended to any host.

Kevin always explained the task to me with a lot of patience and whatever you do he will provide you with tools for that task. I learned a lot about plants and gardening and doing a little bit of catering for the guests (just helping to give out some coffee and tea and chatting with visitors) was great fun and helped me to improve my English. On top of that I also learned a lot about Irish and British culture and history. Kevin and Clare are real characters who can tell you great stories from their lives and their holidays.
The work was never to hard although sometimes challenging but it was so much fun and I am happy to now know so much more about gardening and DIY than before.

I stayed one month with Kevin and it was one of the best experiences. Kevin has a very beautiful garden and your work is to look after the garden so the work isnt too hard. For example, weeding or pot up the plants. Moreover, Kevin is a good cook so you are going to eat very well. I recommend to stay wirh Kevin ;)

Unai stayed with us for the month of August, 2019 and during that time I found him to be very agreeable, fitted very well into the household and a willing worker with no faults in any respect. His command of the English language improved as the month went on.

Kevin's place is absolutley heaven on earth! I stayed with him for the month of May and it was such a great time and a wonderful experience.
Normally I had to work from Monday to Thursday and the tasks he gave me were never hard. It included a lot of painting for the pagoda, helping him if a coach full of people visited, planting, weeding and of
… read more course watering the plants (Yes Kevin, you need to water your plants ;) ). On the weekend he usually showed me different places, we went to garden fairs, visited some of his friends and family and overall had a lot of fun.
But still, Kevin is the biggest criminal I know! He really tries to make you fat with all the food he cooks for you ;) You will never be hungry in his house, I guarantee that.
It's really the best place to go, if you want to learn about gardening, how to drive a boat and have fun while you explore all the nice places around.
I'll be totally coming back to Kevin and his beautiful garden!

We stayed with Kevin for 4 weeks and we were really enjoying our time. Kevin is very likeable and we gave him a hand on various things in the garden. … read more more). We also went on beautiful walks, a boat trip and a gorgeous drive in classic cars. The accommodation is lovely, cozy and warm and there has always been plenty of food for us to eat. Kevin always wanted us to feel comfortable. During the time we also had the pleasure to get to know Kevin’s family and some of his friends and they all gave us a heartwarming welcome.
We highly recommend this host to all workawayers and we would love to come back. :blush:

Julia & Jasmin were absolutely fantastic during their stay here for the month of March 2019. Nothing fazed them and they were industrious and methodical. Their standard of English was 100% (pronunciation and vocabulary) and when they qualify and join a school, their pupils will be very lucky to have them as teachers. Kevin. April 2019.

Kevin took us to many interesting places such as Old Irish Ways, The plant market, Blarney Garden,..... We were slowly began to understand each other
Kevin was always worried whether we had enough food or not whether we were warm enough. He was always willing to help us whenever we need. Kevin even talked slowly to make sure we could understand what he said :grinning: (I will never forget about that). And there are a thousand little lovely things he did for us that I couldn’t mention all of them.
I just have been back to Vietnam for a few days and now I’m suffering from a disease called “ Missing Kevin, Fiona and Garden so much” :cry:.
(In case you are curious about Fiona : She is Kevin’s daughter. The prettiest and cutest woman I have ever met)
