Hello,
we live in a farm- community in the beautiful country near Wuppertal.
We are formed by families and different people (around 40), some working with animals (sheep, horses, chicken etc) and growing ecological food. Some of us have other jobs not related to the farm.
We recently started reforming an very old Fachwerk house to have three more flats - when buidling is done.
We are looking for hands, helping out at all our projects, are you in the mood?
If yes, please contact as soon as possible.
We do have accomodation in private rooms with families and in a trailer with a beautiful view over our fiels, plus a common bathroom and kitchen for usage.
We can host two people or two couples.
As for food: We will provide some times a week a hot meal for you and bring food for breakfast/ diner to fix it yourself. Some days you may cook the meal within your working hours in our nice common kitchen.
We are looking for persons who can also deal with spending some time alone after work, since we do not have common events every day.
The farm is a bit isolated but you can go to the next city by bus/ train/ car ( by car 25 min. drive).

Ajuda
- helping on the farm, participate on common helping days
- repair fences , moan the gras, clean up , help the horses team and dealing with the other animals (sheep, chicken),

Acomodação
Stay in private room with one of our families. Optional (depends on the vacancy:) stay in trailer with a nice view on the fields, plus a common bathroom and kitchen for usage.

Ich war im Aug-Sep 24 für ca. 6 Wochen in Kotthausen. In dieser Zeit wohnte ich in einem kleinen alten Zirkuswagen mit Blick auf die umgebende Landschaft. Es war wunderschön.

He is a very friendly and open person who gets in touch with people easily.
Karsten helped repairing farm machines for many hours, he put and repaired fences, took care of horses and helped out wherever help was needed. He started repairing a trailer aswell.
