    Descrição

Hello there. My dog Molly and I live in the heart of Skopelos island in a remote cottage. Skopelos is the greenest island in Greece and covered in pine forests. I have lived on Skopelos for over 40 years and work as a hiking guide although I am now semi-retired. I also run a non profit called Skopelos Trails. I have written a trails guide book and have published two other books about the natural history of Skopelos. My little cottage is old and set in 6k sq.sm. of plum, olive and other trees. I'm in the process of renovating it. We are not on mains water. There is a nearby spring for drinking water and for watering the veggies. Molly is a five year old rescue girl and very lively. She loves digging holes and being groomed. She will hunt given the chance. You need to be mature and responsible enough to take care of my home and garden, be used to semi off grid living, remoteness and whilst I'm away keep things clean and tidy.

Whilst I'm away, you can use my large single bed in the cottage, camp or park your van on the property. There is no mains water. Water is collected from the roof to a tank and pumped. There's a nearby spring for drinking water. There is no Wifi but the 5g signal is OK. I manage to watch Netflix without problems.

Life here is simple and is perfect for lovers of nature, peace and quiet. You'll have use of my car to get to the nearby springs, beach and exploring. There are many trails that we have cleaned right on the doorstep.
