  Our hostel is located right in front of the ocean, where the jungle begins to embrace the beach. Here, the sound of the waves accompanies the day, birds wake you at dawn, and rain falls gently over the green when the jungle decides to speak.
  
  We are Dani, Colombian, and Emanuele, Italian—partners in a project born from the desire to inhabit this territory with respect and to share it with people who value simplicity, nature, and human connection.
  
  The space is designed for shared living: a communal kitchen where we cook and gather, tables for working or talking, hammocks to rest without rush, and a handmade outdoor gym built with creativity and love for movement. All of this surrounded by jungle, with the ocean always in front of us.
  
  After some time working without volunteers, we decided to reopen this exchange space because we believe that living together and cooperating are an essential part of the experience here.
  
  Here, life is lived in common.
  Between the ocean, the jungle, and everyday moments, the space slowly becomes a home, and those who arrive, over time, become family.
  
  This hostel is not just a place to sleep.
  It is a place to stay a little longer, to connect with nature, with others, and with yourself.
  
  Those who arrive here do not simply stay—they step into the rhythm of the place and become part of its daily life.

  We offer accommodation in a shared dorm and two meals a day, in a simple, natural, and welcoming environment.
  
  During your stay, you will have the opportunity to learn about the local culture and life in this territory, deeply connected to the jungle and the ocean. In your free time, you can join jungle walks, enjoy the surroundings, and spend time with our beloved animals. Volunteers can also join the main tours we organize free of charge.
  
  Depending on the season, this place offers truly special experiences.
  During whale season (July to October), it is possible to watch whales directly from the hostel.
  And during turtle season (August to December), there are night walks to witness turtles arriving on the beach.
  
  More than just an exchange, we share a way of living: close to nature, conscious, and deeply human

  Ajuda

  We are looking for volunteers to support the reception and hospitality area.
  
  This role is an essential part of the hostel experience, as volunteers are often the first welcome and the first point of contact for guests.
  
  Main tasks include:
  • Welcoming guests and assisting with check-ins and check-outs
  • Reception support
  • Organizing and explaining tours and activities
  • Taking care of and keeping common areas clean and tidy
  • Supporting the daily rhythm and everyday life of the hostel
  
  We are looking for responsible people with good energy, a friendly attitude, and a willingness to share and care for the space.
  
  This is not a passive role, but an invitation to be present and become part of a shared home, between the ocean and the jungle
  
  We are looking for volunteers with a good level of both Spanish and English.

  Unfortunately El Valle is a little bit tricky to get to. You can either fly from Medellin or Cali to Bahia Solano and take a TuckTuck to El Valle which takes about 45 minutes or you can do it the adventureous way and come by boat (every tuesday and saturday) from Buenaventura also to Bahia Solano.
