Hello everyone !
We are a couple, Christine and Daniel who live in a beautiful village of south of France.
After a break during some years we want to restart to host some volunteers.
We are now retired and our daughter is a student at another place but she stay here often.
We are very attentive at the ecological questions for all the things of the life and we build and renovate with ecological construction.
We love to welcome people on trips and share our culture and knowledges.
We love and practice music, dance (traditional, rock and salsa... ) also bike rides.
We like to go at the concerts, there are often groups from all around the world here.
We cook and eat mostly organic food and the meal together is an important moment to share together for us.
During 2018, we were volunteers in UK, New Zealand, Canary Island and Iceland during a long trip in family of 6 months. It was a pleasant and amazing experience what we want to live now in other way at home with volunteers!
Now we travel often by bicycles for some longs trips. We rode two times in Scandinavia during three months also in Spain and from Germany to Hungary... The next soon...

Of course if you want, we will be happy to help you progress in French language and why not some dance, learn about wild edible plants, ecological solutions, sobriety, etc.
There is a lot of artists in the village mostly potter and ceramist, it's a famous place.
The area is very attractive for tourism, we live near the city of Uzès and the famous "Pont du Gard".
We like creative and organic cook and we have the bests organic wines of France !!!

Ajuda
The help we need is variable depending on the moment.
In this moment, we will be working for some little things in our house, smalls tasks, coated, painting, sanding... But it's not necessary to have skills.
Also, you will participate in the tasks of the house, tidying, cooking...
But now we like to work not too much and we ask the same to the volunteers !

Acomodação
We have a small room with a double bed, and a shared toilets and bathroom in our house.
Depending the season we can use a caravan for one or a couple, it's small but comfortable!

There is some stores in the village, and the nearby town is at 4 km. It's possible to go by bike ( we have two bikes for volonteers ), that we can lend, or by bus.
There is a good bus service and very cheap in the area.
There are two big towns, Nîmes where there are a lot of Roman monuments and Avignon which is at less then one hour by bus.

She is kind, calm, motivated and she has all the time keep smile. She is very autonomous and open to learn some DIY

Janek is a very nice young man, very well organized. He quickly sees what needs to be done in the house and is very independent. He works conciously for construction work and also likes to have fun in moments of relaxation.

Our daughters appreciated her company.
There was easy to her with the new things to make and learn. She pasted a lot of corkboard, mostly for outside insulation!
