  Help in the spring or summer period.
  
  I am a 63 year old lady who likes to
  occasionally pet sit in UK & travel therefore I was looking for help with helping my elderly 81 year old husband with care of pets and a little help around the house while I am away. Although this is mainly Pet Sitting work as most of the time we travel together. We live in an attractive house opposite the Atlantic Ocean and red mountain. I also have a spare bedroom to stay for a companion for myself who is interested in nature, animals, yoga, spirituality would be nice but also someone down to earth and kind. La Tejita is a quiet residential area away from tourists but 25 minutes walk to El Médano where there are restaurants and activities. There is also a ten minutes walk to La Tejita Shopping Mall. We are a friendly & quiet couple who love animals and all our pets are rescues and we like to help cat welfare and K9 when we can. I enjoy walking and Tenerife has some lovely coastal and forest walks. Look forward to hearing from you.

  Tenerife is a beautiful island and many places to explore such a Mount Teide, Laguna, Santa Cruz, Santiago del Teide, Candelaria and many more. We live in La Tejita, El Médano a quiet residential area opposite the red mountain & ocean. This is more a caring role exchange to pet sitting and helping my elderly husband with the pets and taking Pattie & Lydia for walks etc. There will be times when we are both away together and need someone to pet & house sit. In this instance then 2 people can stay. The learning opportunity and experience will be a caring role for my pets. I am a holistic massage therapist and happy to share my skills and experience. Also language exchange. There will be plenty of free time for you to explore the island. La Laguna and Santa Cruz has many museums, art places, music and culture. However Tenerife is mainly the landscape of Mount Teide, Vilaflor, pasajie Lunar, Anaga, Las Vegas etc to explore and water sports. It’s Spanish speaking and a place to practice Spanish or English.

  This is mainly pet sitting work but occasionally some DIY,
  help with feeding/walking pets and helping my husband if required for shopping and a little cooking but probably not required. (Mainly Pet sitting. Pets:Lydia, Sparky & Amber)
  My husband is great at making English Sunday dinners. My husband Dave is 82 years old and is in good health. My husband is self sufficient and does not need any personal care and or any lifting. Dave can get forgetful but this does not affect his daily life. He is a quiet & kind gentleman and tends to enjoy his computer and sports which he does in his private office/bedroom and bathroom. He tends to go to bed early and gets up around 8:30 am. We do have a cleaner in once a week. Also when I am at home a companion to help me around the house & companion. We do have a small rental accommodation and when it is free you will be welcome to use that. A companion who is interested in pets, nature, walking, yoga, swimming, good food, chats etc.
