Hi and welcome 😊
We are a small international family living in the countryside on Funen, Denmark, surrounded by nature, fields and quiet village life.
Our home is a relaxed and creative place where family life, outdoor projects and simple living come together. During spring and summer we are usually busy with gardening, organizing outdoor spaces, maintenance projects and creating cozy areas around the property.
We are looking for kind, respectful and easygoing people who enjoy practical tasks, nature and cultural exchange. You do not need special skills — motivation, a positive attitude and common sense are much more important to us.
We try to create a relaxed atmosphere with a fair balance between help and free time. Usually around 4–5 hours a day, 5 days a week.
In your free time you can enjoy nature, explore Funen, visit Odense, go biking, relax outdoors or experience Danish countryside life from a more local perspective.
We are happy to welcome both experienced travelers and people doing their first Workaway experience.
There is public transport nearby, and we can usually help with pickup from the local train station on arrival day.
Looking forward to meeting you and sharing a small part of life together 🌿

We live in a beautiful danish landscape with loads of possiblilities for walks and enjoying the quiet. We also live close the the city Odense. The ocean is always close by in Denmark as well. In our house lives a good feeling of inclusion, good spirit and openness between all cultures and opinions. Good discussions are always welcome around the table.
Our main feature is food. In this house we always eat well and enjoy good cooking. Troels is cook and enjoy sharing his love of food and welcome any good inspiration you might bring to the household. We are also interessted in Design, history and culture.
We can also help you with your Spanish, Danish or English, we are a multicultural family with roots in Argentina, Mexico and Denmark.
We especially appreciate people who:
• are independent but also friendly
• communicate openly
• respect shared spaces and family routines
• enjoy calm environments and nature
• like authentic experiences more than luxury

Ajuda
Home remodeling: painting, yard maintenance, tidying up warehouses, general house keeping, cutting wood for the winter, helps organize and/or transport furniture, cleaning, dog care, and everything that has to do with housekeeping :)
The help can vary depending on the season, weather and current projects, but often includes:
• gardening and outdoor tasks
• painting or small DIY projects
• organizing and cleaning spaces
• helping keep the property nice and welcoming
• general everyday practical help

We have 1 guestrooms that are adjoint that are seperate from the main house, so there is room for privacy as well. This makes room for 2 volunteers at any time.
There will be breakfast, lunch and dinner provided in general, but there may be days where the volunteers will need to either help or cook for themselves if Troels is not at home. Breakfast and lunch is in general a typical danish one with bread and cold cut meats + ofcourse coffee. If you have speciel requirements for the food (vegetarian or vegan) please just let us know and we can accomodate.

We spent 2 weeks on the beautiful farm of Troels and Soledad, together with their friend Noe and thier cute animals, and had a very good time there!
The most of the time we renovated the old bedroom, painted and put new wallpaper on and laid the new floor.

Working with Sole and Felix was an amazing experience. There is a lot different things to do, is fun and you learn a lot.
Felix cooks amazing meals and the atmosphere is very cozy, a real friendly way to know danish culture.
The accommodation is very comfortable and the host are very helpful.
I totally recommend it!

Our stay with Sole and Feli was excellent. We spend 3 weeks in their farm. The work was nice with a good conversation, laughing, good music and some “mates drinks” between.
