I stayed on Steve and Kim's farm for a week in July. The 5th wheel was clean and comfortable. They provided fresh produce and other food for me to prepare a good meal. I enjoyed picking cherries and getting to know the farmers and their help. My favorite job was to tuck in grapevines! So many lakes and wineries to visit after morning work. Every

We enjoyed our first workaway experience at Kim and Steve's winery and orchard. We stayed for three weeks in our own trailer on the property.
The work is Mon-Fri 7am-12pm in exchange for your stay and groceries. We had the opportunity to work extra hours for cash as well. Work included trimming vines, thinning peach trees in the orchard,

The property is gorgeous and there is lots to do in the area including hiking, visiting Osoyoos and Cawston, and visiting wineries.
Kim and Steve are friendly, welcoming hosts. They had us and the other workawayers over for Happy Hour on the patio once a week which was super fun!
Would recommend.Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.

It has been one month since we left Forbidden Fruit Winery and still we remember the wonderful one and a half month we spent there with warmth and smile.
We lived in a very cozy, lovely and beautiful log house. Every morning started with the most stunning view overlooking the Similkameen Valley. It was a pleasure to spend a time in these
… read more appartments. Especially we enjoyed the terrace outside, where we had our afternoon coffee and lunch, while greeting deer families all around orchards. When we arrived, kitchen was already full with different food and whenever we run out of something, we could ask to buy or Kim would provide with money and we bought by ourselves.
The work was enjoyable. Mostly we picked apples and grapes, packed fruits, crushed the grapes, did weeding and some small tasks. We were there at the end of the season (October), which is why a lot of things had to be done and sometimes we worked more hours than asked.
Kim and Steve are great and kindly hosts and they did start our workaway experience first class. They are hard workers and make jokes offten. We felt safe and cozy. And they gave us a lot of independence and free space for our own things. So we were mostly on our own, which we enjoyed a lot!
We got a knowledge about the wine making, heard amazing and inspiring stories from Kim's and Steve's life, had a chance to taste a lot of their wines, enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner with all family (Kim is very good chef, and she even made vegetarian Thanksgiving fillig specially for us!) And for all that we are grateful! We feel like we are welcome to come back and some day we really would like to do that! Meanwhile we hope to develop our own winery and welcome Kim and Steve in Latvia!
Thank you again Kim, Steve, Nathan, Chai, Blue and all other beautiful beeings that were with us!
Hugs from us!

This was our first experience and we cannot begin to describe how awsome it was. Kim, Steve and Nathan are so welcoming, generous and open-minded people. We stayed for 2 weeks in their cabin at the river. Steve and Nathan made sure that we do something different every day like picken or packing apricots, harvesting garlic, pruning wine, weeding,
