Hi ! My name is Virginie. I am 53 years-old. I live in Cadouin, a small village in the South-West of France. It is between Sarlat and Bergerac. There is a train station 10 minutes drive away. You can get to Sarlat or Bergerac in 30 minutes or to Bordeaux in 2 hours from this station.
I am china painter and I have my workshop in my house. I live alone with my dog. His name is Sartre. He is a Swiss Shepherd.
I have three children but they now live far away.
I just moved to Cadouin. But I know the area very well. I have been coming to this village on holiday since I was born.
I need help in my new house (cleaning, gardening, cooking …).
The Dordogne is an amazing region, there many wonderful places to discover.
I can show you many beautiful hikes. It is very important to Sartre and me that you like walking.

I can also help you discover recipes from the North (I was born in the North of France) and South-West of France.

I would like to improve my English and one day be able to speak fluently. I would also be very happy to speak French to you. However, as my English is really not good, I would prefer to welcome workawayers who already know some basic French.
Acomodação
I live in a large village house. There are a few shops (restaurants, cafés and crafts) but many are closed during the winter.
Workawayers have a single bedroom and shower room with toilet.
There is a garden.
All meals are provided. If I am not home, there will be food so that you can cook for yourself.

I can only welcome females and for now I can only welcome one at a time because I only have one room available. If you wish to go out later than 11 pm you must let me know, there is no problem but I don't want you to go out late every day.
During your free time you can easily visit different places. If you have to take the train, I can drive you. You just have to let me know in advance so that I can organise to drive you and pick you up at the station.
I really like walking in nature and I would be happy to walk with you and my dog Sartre.
