    Description

Welcome to our shared accommodation nestled near the forest, providing convenient access to Oslo Central Station (just 39 minutes away: 5 minutes by car followed by a 30-minute train ride). Surrounded by tranquil surroundings, our location offers abundant opportunities for gardening, forest work, and general upkeep. Situated close to Oslo Gardermoen airport, our property caters to both international and domestic travelers. Long-term stays are preferred, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the local environment. Our property is a haven for all seasons, offering a central base for exploring the beauty of Norway year-round

Personally, I've spent over 5 years working in Oslo while residing in this house just outside the city. This arrangement has been facilitated by excellent train connectivity. At 33 years old, I have a background in Applied Mathematics and Robotics, having studied and lectured at the University of Oslo

We look forward to welcoming you to our home and sharing in memorable experiences together

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Exploring Scandinavian culture while residing near Oslo Centrum (just 39 minutes away) offers an array of enriching experiences. Oslo's cultural offerings are boundless. The combination of car and train travel proves highly efficient. The 30-minute train ride stands out as a personal highlight, blending seamlessly into the workday commute to Oslo. Opting for the right regional train provides an almost first-class experience: plush, adjustable seats, armrests, individual power outlets, two restrooms, and onboard WiFi ensure comfort and convenience. Morning journeys by the window are particularly delightful. Surprisingly, many are unaware of the comfort this commute affords. Being just the second stop from the nearest train station ensures easy access to preferred seating. Personally, I found the commute ideal for catching up on emails and work-related tasks, enhancing the overall experience. I wholeheartedly recommend the combination of close proximity to nature and swift access to Oslo Centrum for a fulfilling lifestyle
