Hello,
We are a multigenerational family living in Squamish, BC. Right now we are primarily looking for support with childcare for our youngest 1.5 years old, as her mum goes back to work. In addition there is always cooking, gardening and cleaning that needs to be done. We also have more diverse jobs including carpentry, labor, painting and more that comes with owning a small business.
We are welcoming of individuals, couples or families.
We live in beautiful Squamish BC, which is located in between Vancouver and Whistler B.C. My wife and I have a large house with several other living here . We have our own business . There is much going on in our town including climbing, kite boarding, fishing, mountain biking, hiking, bird watching, kayaking, river rafting, sailing and much more. Check out our District of Squamish B.C. Canada web site. Squamish is on the southern most fjord of North America we have three rivers and a fabulous estuary. we are looking for around 24 hour of work a week for room and board. We have had many workaways over the years, many who are now life-long friends.

In the summer the weather is beautiful in Squamish, and Squamish is a rapidly growing community and there is a lot to do, especially outdoor activities. In the winter, there is winter activities, such as skiing and snowboarding in Whistler, and mountain biking exploring our mountains and rivers . Vancouver is just to the south of us and there is also much to see there . I am sure you will do the research of our area and seasons!
We were hoping to have people that want to stay 6 weeks or longer less wont work as well!

I really enjoyed the time with your Family and you.
This was my first experience with workaway and it was amazing.
I spent one month and half helping Ted in the garden (planting, weeding, tiding) in downtown (loading and uploading the trucks and general maintenance) in the house (cooking and cleaning).

Ted is such a lovely person and his family is awesome. The work was very easy and a pleasure. Ted helped me to find climbing partners that I could rock climb every day!!!
