My name is Ruth.
I am interested along with my husband in learning about other cultures, customs etc.

The activities you can do are:
-Walking in the middle of nature.
-Knowing rivers, enjoying hot springs,
-You can go to the Arenal Volcano National Park which is 40 minutes away from the house, visit waterfalls, visit the Arenal Lagoon, etc.

No tengo ninguna persona asalariada en casa.

Las actividades que puedes realizar están:
-Caminar en medio de la naturaleza.

-Puedes ir al Parque Nacional Volcán Arenal que está a 40 minutos de casa, visitar cataratas, conocer la Laguna del Arenal etc.

We offer accommodation either in a room, in tents indoors or outdoors. We have camping tents and mattresses available.
There are one bathroom and one toilet.
We have unlimited internet via Wifi.
Electricity and water are available.
We also offer all three meal times.
And something very important, our house is very safe, the property is fenced with mesh.

En tu tiempo libre podrás hacer caminatas, disfrutar de ríos y aguas termales, practicar deportes acuáticos y extremos, visitar el Volcán Arenal y su hermosa laguna, ir a bosques o si prefieres quedarte en casa disfrutando de la paz por el ambiente que nos rodea.

In your free time you can hike, enjoy rivers and hot springs, practice water and extreme sports, visit the Arenal Volcano and its beautiful lagoon, go to forests or if you prefer to stay at home enjoying the peace of the environment that surrounds us.

Tizi and Tini are two very nice girls. I really enjoyed sharing with them, they were very respectful and nice people. They love animals and I am sure that if you welcome them in your home you will not regret it. I can only say good things about them. Super recommended.

We spent a couple of lovely days with Ruth and her family in the beginning of November 2022. We enjoyed our stay a lot, Ruth was welcoming and had some nice ideas of what to check out in the area. Valle Azul is a rather small place but has a direct bus connection to La Fortuna, where we did two day trips to.

I stayed with Ruth's family over a period of 4 days in July 2022 and I had a wonderful stay. It was very relaxed and I got to enjoy the surrounding nature, La Fortuna volcano, traditional Costa Rican food and practising English/Spanish as well. I would really reccommend them to stay with.

I spent 2 weeks with Ruth and Sergio and it was lovely! They helped me with my Spanish, showed me the local area and Ruth cooked so much delicious vegetarian food. Really recommend staying here, super friendly and welcoming family with 2 lovely dogs. Also, very comfortable and safe. Gracias! :)
