Descrição
Hi all you adventurers!! Many years ago I decided to learn how to surf. I googled longest lefthanded wave in the world and Pavones, Costa Rica and Puerto Malabrigo, Peru popped up on my screen. I decided Costa Rica because of the cheaper price. I bought my plane ticked and off I went. WOW! Was I surprised how beautiful it was and at that moment I decided I wanted to live there. I sold all my businesses in the US and found a piece of paradise.
I am currently building a self sustaining farm where people can come camp and learn how to live off the land. I am currently in the first part of the building phase. I have planted fruit trees, nut trees, and a lot of banana, mango, and papaya trees. The tubers and pineapple are all growing fast as well. So I am in need of some help building the cabañas, greenhouses, and maintain the jungle and beaches around me. We are surrounded by water on 3 sides.
There is a rivers on the back side and it runs into the ocean on the front side. The wildlife is everywhere. You will be able to spot monkeys, sloths, armadillos, possum, and many more wild birds than I can count. It is a very peaceful and fulfilling lifestyle and I am inviting you all to come help.
🚫 No alcohol or drugs are allowed on the property. This is a place for clear minds, healthy living, and connection with nature.

You will work hand in hand with local and Indigenous people who have lived in this region for generations. It’s an opportunity to learn about their traditions, connection to the land, and deep respect for the natural world.
You’ll share daily life together — planting, building, cooking, and exploring — while exchanging languages, stories, and skills. Volunteers often learn traditional techniques for working with the land and share their own knowledge in gardening, building, or sustainable living.
You’ll also experience the relaxed pura vida lifestyle of Costa Rica, visit nearby fishing villages and surf spots, and take part in community life surrounded by jungle and ocean.
It’s a meaningful exchange that connects people, culture, and nature.
Ajuda
I’m looking for volunteers who enjoy hands-on outdoor work and want to experience authentic off-grid living. Tasks include:
Planting and caring for fruit trees and gardens
Maintaining jungle trails and paths
Cleaning and caring for the nearby beach
Helping with light construction, painting, or general maintenance
No special experience is needed — just a positive attitude, respect for nature, and a willingness to learn.
At the moment, I provide meals and tent accommodation until our jungle cabañas are complete. It’s a raw but rewarding experience for those who love the outdoors and want to be part of building something from the ground up.

Acomodação
We’re still in the early stages of building the retreat, so accommodation is currently in large tents surrounded by jungle and ocean breeze, with star-filled skies at night.
We provide comfortable sleeping setups, access to fresh water, and a shared outdoor kitchen and dining area. There’s also a functioning bathroom with hot-water showers and running water connected to a septic system, so you can stay comfortable while living off-grid.
🍽️ Meals:
Three meals a day are provided — simple but hearty home-cooked food made from local ingredients. We often use fresh fruits, vegetables, and local staples like rice, beans, eggs, and tropical produce from the area. Volunteers are also welcome to help cook or share recipes from their own countries.
You’ll find plenty of shaded areas, hammocks, and space to relax after a day of work. As construction continues, we’re building jungle cabinas and shared volunteer houses — so everyone who stays here helps us move one step closer to completing the retreat.
It’s a peaceful and rustic setting, perfect for those who enjoy simple living surrounded by the sounds of the jungle and the sea.

🏝️ Free Time & Local Area
We are located at the very tip of southern Costa Rica — remote, peaceful, and surrounded by untouched nature. On your time off, you can swim, surf, hike through the jungle, or relax in a hammock listening to the sounds of monkeys and waves.
There are no buses or taxis nearby, so I personally bring volunteers in from the border when they arrive. Any trips to nearby surf towns or fishing villages must be timed with the tides, since beach access changes with the ocean.
On weekends, we can plan group trips to nearby places like Pavones, Costa Rica — famous for its world-class left-hand wave — or even organize boat excursions across the border into Panama to explore islands and fishing spots. It’s remote living with plenty of adventure.
🌿 Lifestyle & House Rules
We live simply and off-grid, powered by solar and surrounded by the jungle. Respect for nature, wildlife, and each other is essential. Please use water and electricity mindfully, keep the area clean, and avoid loud noise or late nights.
We share meals, help with cooking and cleaning, and work together as a team. Life here runs on the rhythm of the ocean and jungle — if you’re looking for peace, purpose, and adventure, it is the perfect place to be.

💻 Digital Nomads Welcome We’ve got Starlink internet, I use it to work in the Tech field to be able to provide the funds to continue to build here. The Wi-Fi is strong even out here in the jungle. It’s a great spot for digital nomads who want to work online while living off-grid. You can set up your laptop outside, hear the waves, and still make video calls or get work done. Power comes from solar, so it’s better to do heavy stuff during the day. When you’re finished working, you’re already surrounded by beach, jungle, and fresh air — not a bad place to log off.
