  Our Hostel, is 30 mts from the beach, with a Lonely Planet award in sustainable and ecologic option, Trip Advisor Excellence Award 2013 , 2014 and 2015, 2016, 2017,,18,19,20, 21 Traveller´s Choice 2020 and Hall of Fame Trip Advisor 2 times, Eco-green Leaders Awards from Trip Advisor
  small and cozy hostel with only 9 rooms.
  The hostel was built in 2010 when the owner decides to move ( for love to Sweden ) since 2011 , he is back and forth, but before he had a beach house there for 12 years,
  The house was tear down and we reused the 90% of the house, in the hostel construction so the hostel has the house´s genes and the hostel was built as a product of the love =) crazy huh?! =)

  most of our travelers are English spoken but our staff is bilingual, and from Ecuador, if you want to improve your Spanish you will do it with us, asides we could immerse you in a real Ecuadorian culture, that is why you are traveling for right?
  
  Pepe our lovely guard speak only Spanish and has learned some English he has built friendship with some of our volunteers to a point he invites them to a local meeting and party as a sign of sympathy, so it opts to you how to take advantage to living this experience with us,

  We require someone who speaks English at an advanced level, 26 hours per week, one day off /week, and helping our team we are bilingual ( except Pepe our lovely guard ) in administration, marketing, supporting the team with some guests if there something to communicate in English

  We need help in all the task that involves a Backpacker hostel, which means a shift in the morning, midday or afternoon, which will be rotated with other volunteers, every shift has multiple tasks, for instance, the midday shift involves more check out than check-in and also housekeeping rooms, morning and afternoon, more check-in process and less housekeeping on the rooms.
  on the training process we normally. start with the shift 12 pm -4 pm where it is important and also the reason why we need. 30 days, as we want our volunteers rotate later to other shift in the morning and afteroon
  so every volunteer will cover the different shifts and will learn a bit about what a hostel operation involves, our Administrator will be there for 8 hours daily as support and guidance too and on a busy day ( fully booked the rooms ) we will hire a maid for the cleaning so the volunteer in this shift will have the support , we want the volunteer are active people, of course in a balance with the intensitive of the work, we expect volunteer always will be aware of what happened in the hostel even in the small details, that they see the place as a home and not a bed in exchange for help in our hostel

  there have been several digital nomads working and helping us , internet is good =) and the roof top counts with some personal desk and also the backyard offer a nice area to work
