We spent over 6 weeks at Jelena and Thibault's and had a great time there. The village is high in the corsican landscape and offers beautifuls views every morning.
The work we did was mainly at the building site were we would drill, hammer, measure and re-measure, cut planks, climb, but also discuss about architecture, listen to music and
… read more occasionaly remember to look up at the view !
The life in the family was also a good adventure. In the evening we were often playing with the kids, chilliing and sometimes helping with some cooking. We also shared nice laughs and conversations.
We'd recommand this place for a cople or a very independant person as there is not much to do close to the house and Jelena and Thibault are often buisy with the kids.Feito pelo anfitrião para o Workawayer (Sarah)

We were very fortunate to host the wonderful dynamic duo the past month. They were so incredibly helpful and motivated on the job site as well as hanging with the kids at home. Thank you so much for all of the love and attention you showed them. We know there were challenging moments with
… read more them that we couldn’t always be 100% available for you so we appreciate your patience and understanding. Thanks for creating the bonfire tradition on our property from now on whenever we do it we will always think of you , especially Oski. Thanks again and come back soon!

We had the great pleasure of hosting Marga for a few weeks. She is extremely hardworking, has great attention to detail, always take initiative and was great at finding solutions to problems on the job site. She was really great with the kids and they loved her. She was also a great help around the house ! We were having a tricky time at night

Expérience intense! J’ai passé 3 semaines chez eux et je ne me suis jamais ennuyée :)
Belle maison et le village, peut-être un peu isolé mais avec la voiture qu’ils mettent gentilment à disposition, il est facile de visiter Corte et ses environs avec des paysages montagneux magnifiques!

… read more chantier, Thibault raconte avec passion le projet de éco-construction en expliquant les différentes phases des travaux. Repas pris tous ensemble (Jelena est une excellente cuisinière!) afin que vous vous sentiez encore plus impliqué dans la vie de famille, avec les adorables Oscar et Ayla qui absorbent toute l’attention.
Avec moi, il y avait deux autres workawayer avec qui il était possible de se distraire et faire des activités en compagnie, en remplissant un peu "les temps vides" dus à la difficulté d’organisation de les journées, seul défaut (compréhensible après tout et facilement résolubles) que nous avons communiqué à Thibault et Jelena.
Merci pour l’hospitalité et l’accueil, j’espère pouvoir passer un jour à vous voir dans votre nouvelle maison 😁
Nous avons passé une super semaine chez Jelena et Thibault dans leur magnifique village au milieu des montagnes corses, dans une jolie maison confortable avec une vue à couper le souffle. Leurs enfants sont adorables et très sociables, ça a été un plaisir de passer du temps avec eux. Nous avons adoré bricoler sur le chantier pour construire
… read more l'ossature bois de leur projet, l'ambiance était très agréable et détendue ! Thibault est très pédagogue et fait les choses bien et minutieusement ce qui promet une belle maison. Jelena nous a toujours régalé avec ses bons petits plats !

It was such a pleasure hosting Maxime and Ingrid! It's such a shame they couldn't stay longer! They were very kind, gentle and super independent on the job site. They work amazing as a team and are so lovely. They are also super cute with the kids and the kids also wish they could've stayed longer.

Hyacinthe is an amazing ball of energy! She is very curious and hardworking. She is super easy to talk to and fun to have around. Her experience as a kids camp counselor shows and she was really amazing with the kids. We're sad she had to leave so soon but hope she will come back again. We really loved hosting her.

Luiza and Ferdinand have become like family in their short stay with us. Not only are they very hard working, they are kind, hilarious and just amazing energy all around. They are both incredible with kids and our kids loved having them around so much. We really enjoyed having them and are sad to see them go!

We had the most amazing time at Jelena’s and Thibaut’s house. They picked us up in Corte and welcomed us into their home, where we were greeted by their family and friends. It is a very dynamic place and the cultural exchange is there from the first minute.
The work on the property is very fulfilling, because they totally trusted us with working
… read more on projects on our own. We built two new gates for example. The views are also spectacular all day around and we were happy to take their dog and children for little walks.

We were lucky enough to have Sylvia stay with us for a week. She is so soft, warm and extremely friendly and easy to talk to. She worked really hard and we appreciate all of her effort! Jelena and Thibaut have created an amazing family that makes you feel at home. They are super friendly, flexible and help me with every little thing to make my stay comfortable.
