    Descrição

We are Guilherme, Erica, and little Lis, a family that decided to turn theory into practice. After years of leading financial consulting for multinationals, we chose to live differently - to create an agroecological project that is economically viable, environmentally regenerative, and socially inclusive. 🌳The Land: Our Canvas of Transformation Our 10-hectare land is located in the Mantiqueira region, in the small and peaceful town of Córrego do Bom Jesus. The Essence of the Project: More than Agriculture is not just a farm - it is a living laboratory that practically tests three pillars:

    Intelligent Production

    Diverse planting with strategic rotation.
    Integrated animal husbandry.
    Artisan production with added value.
    Accommodation that finances regeneration.

    Continuous Learning

Each activity is an opportunity for teaching:

    Mistakes become case studies.
    Successes become replicable methodologies.
    Processes are documented for scalability.

    Measurable Impact

    We monitor everything:

    Financial return per activity.
    Soil regeneration (periodic analyses).
    Recovered biodiversity.
    Shared knowledge.

The People: Our Essential Team in the main house, we live:
Guilherme - Strategist by training, farmer by conviction. He brings a systemic view from the corporate world to the field.
Erica - Administrator of the farm and baker with numerous courses in 100% sourdough baking.
Lis - At just 1 year old, she is taking her first steps.
Our dynamic is professional yet human:
    Weekly meetings for operational planning.
    A system of clear responsibilities.
    A culture of constructive feedback.
Balance between work and living together.
Our Animals: Partners in the SystemOur animals are not "resources" - they are strategic components of the ecosystem:

    Birds

Free-range chickens in a mobile system (fertilizing while grazing).
Ducks for biological control of snails.

    Ruminants

    Goats for vegetation management.
A cow for grazing and manure use.

    Pollinators

Native and European bees for ecosystem services.

We believe in a model where the agricultural organism allows for minimal external inputs.
    Our Eclectic Activities
We have many activities that make the site very eclectic. Some of the main activities include:
Raising goats, birds, and a cow.
Planting coffee, vegetables, bananas, and blackberries on a larger scale, along with many other items on a smaller scale.
Artisan production of jams, goat and cow cheeses, baking, smoked products, and infused cachaças, among other products.
    Accommodation for visitors.
We plant a lot, have a nursery, and enjoy multiplying plants.
The Workawayers will stay in private accommodation with a bathroom and exclusive kitchen, very close to our house. We will have all meals together, taking the time for interactions and exchanging experiences. We love to cook, plant, listen to good music, enjoy a campfire, take waterfall baths, watch the wonderful sunset from our deck, and have great conversations.
    =============

    1. Produção Inteligente
    Plantio diversificado com rotação estratégica.
Criação de animais em sistemas integrados
    Produção artesanal com valor agregado
    Hospedagem que financia a regeneração

    2. Aprendizado Contínuo
Cada atividade é uma oportunidade de ensino:
    Erros viram estudos de caso
    Sucessos viram metodologias replicáveis
    Processos são documentados para escalabilidade

    3. Impacto MensurávelL
    Monitoramos tudo:
    Retorno financeiro por atividade
    Regeneração do solo (análises periódicas)
    Biodiversidade recuperada
    Conhecimento compartilhado

    As Pessoas: Nossa Equipe Essencial

    Nossos Animais: Parceiros no Sistema

Nossos animais não são "recursos" - são componentes estratégicos do ecossistema:

    Aves
Galinhas caipiras em sistema móvel (fertilizam enquanto pastejam)
Patos para controle biológico de caramujos

    Ruminantes
    Cabras para manejo de vegetação
Vaca para pastejo e uso do esterco

    Polinizadores

We have a small agroecological farm and guesthouse, so daily life naturally creates opportunities for cultural exchange. Volunteers usually share meals, work together outdoors, and spend time talking in the evenings. We often cook together, exchange recipes, and occasionally visit nearby towns or local markets so volunteers can experience rural Brazilian life and meet people from the community.

We are happy to share practical knowledge about life in the countryside: gardening, small-scale farming, caring for animals, and making simple homemade foods such as cheese and jam. Volunteers can also learn about Brazilian culture, food traditions, and the rhythm of life in a rural area.

At the same time, hosting people from different countries is a great opportunity for us to learn. We enjoy hearing about different cultures, languages, and ways of living. Volunteers often bring new ideas, recipes, perspectives, and skills, which makes the experience richer for everyone involved.

The goal is to create a relaxed environment where people can collaborate, learn from each other, and experience a genuine slice of rural life in Brazil.

  • Acomodação

    Acomodação

Volunteers stay in cozy and comfortable private room accommodation within the property. The space is quiet and surrounded by nature, offering a peaceful rural environment. The bathroom with hot shower is also private.

The house has common areas where everyone can relax, cook, and spend time together. Volunteers also have access to outdoor spaces such as gardens, open areas of the farm, and places to rest and enjoy the landscape.

We provide three meals a day, and we prefer to prepare and enjoy them together whenever possible. However, due to work and other commitments, we may not always be able to share meals. In those cases, everyone is welcome to use the kitchen and prepare their own food.

  • Algo mais...

    Algo mais...

It is important for volunteers to be proactive and responsible during their stay. Life on a farm can be dynamic, and sometimes we may be busy with other activities, so it is important that volunteers feel comfortable continuing the agreed tasks with a reasonable level of autonomy.

We appreciate people who are disciplined with the activities that are planned, organized with their time, and able to take initiative when needed.

Another important aspect is cooking and daily life in the house. Occasionally, when we are occupied, volunteers may need to prepare simple meals for themselves or for the group. For this reason, it helps if you are comfortable in the kitchen.

At the same time, we want volunteers to feel at home. The kitchen is open, and you are welcome to use it whenever you need. Preparing your own food, sharing meals, and exchanging recipes is part of the experience.

Overall, the best fit for the farm is someone who enjoys rural life, collaboration, and can balance independence with teamwork.
