Meredith stayed with us for 3 weeks and after a few days of showing her the routine with the dogs, puppies and other farm animals she looked after them and the house perfectly while we went away on our Christmas holidays for 2 weeks. Meredith was amazing with the care of the dogs and puppies and running the house and farm. She took care of any

I would highly recommend Meredith to anyone wanting a friendly, capable, absolutely lovely, unobtrusive Workaway. She was perfect.

Tess and Jo are a beautiful couple in every way. They are so friendly, helpful and chilled. They put their hand to anything we asked and loved our dogs and puppies. They joined in all our family activities and became part of our family.
Anyone will really enjoy having them.

Evelyn and John are two of the kindest people. We had such a lovely time with them and enjoyed trips and their company on times off! The work is mainly outside,weather permitting and there is a watering hole nearby you can swim in to cool off, which we did most days. The property has incredible views of the bush that you will never get tired of
… read more looking at. They have 3 friendly dogs that love cuddles and have such unique personalities. You may also get lots of cuddles with puppies if there is a litter at the time of your stay. It is impossible not to fall in love with them! Chase is a fantastic guy with an amazing work ethic. He was happy to do any job we set for him. We loved having him with us for just over 2 weeks and would highly recommend him to anyone. He was alone at the time but we would have loved to meet his girlfriend Jen, she's a lucky girl to have such a great guy in her life.

I had an exceptional experience with Evelyn and John. They have a beautiful property tucked away in Waitakere range, while at the same time being reasonably close to Auckland. I was generously treated as one of their own, and it was a joy to spend time with them outside of working hours. Jobs varied with John on projects around the property and
… read more carpentry tasks. Great fit for someone(s) who is just arriving into NZ to get there feet underneath them, or for others who are spending their last weeks in NZ. Annelieke and Lennard were great to have here helping us sand down our old campervan. Annelieke was a God-send as she was able to look after our 3 dags and a new litter of 6 puppies while we away on holiday for 2 weeks. They both ran the house and animals beautifully while we were away. They are a capable couple that can handle hard work.

We stayed a month with Evelyn and John. 2 weeks with them working on the campervan and 2 weeks of house and petsitting. They are very welkoming and really helpfull. We switched our car for a van and with fixing it up we could use their tools for it. The puppy's were great and so cute! We will miss this place.

We honestly had the most wonderful experience with some of the kindest and most hospitable people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Wow!! We had such a good time with Evie and Scott. They put their hand to anything and give 100%. Our Dachshunds and all the puppies loved them too. They took all of them walking every day. Anything you asked them to do they did with ease and picked up new skills very quickly. Helping us start our YouTube video was an absolute bonus!!

We had the BEST time with this amazing family. Such kind, generous and welcoming people. Evelyn is an amazing cook and looked after us so well. We enjoyed spending time with all the dogs and exploring their beautiful farm. So sad to leave but thank you for an amazing introduction to New Zealand.
