2 weeks with borja that was a great time for all our family and borja became a family member very quick as he is such an easy going person and connected with the kids and with us 100% and he is a help for everything in house, garden, building things and playing with the kids so when borja ledft he left a vacuum space here and we miss him and
… read more especially our son yoshi who allways asks "when is borja coming back?".
so i can say that borje is a enrichement for every place and we wish him to come back sometime. he forgot a headlight and a knife here, so he has a good reason to come back one day......right, borja?

Tienen una calidad humana enorme, y una manera de ser, de vivir y de pensar dignas de conocer.
Además, están en un entorno natural precioso y tranquilo.
Por estas dos semanas sólo puedo decir gracias y hasta pronto amigos :)

This was my first experience as a Workawayer, and I couldn't be happier to have done so with this family.
From the very beginning, they welcomed me as one of their own and made me feel at home.
In their project, you can collaborate in many areas: fieldwork, family life with children, housework, gardening... and they invite you to do whatever you feel most comfortable with.
They have tremendous human qualities and a way of being, living, and thinking worth experiencing.
Plus, they're in a beautiful and peaceful natural setting.
For these two weeks, I can only say thank you and see you soon, friends :)

Es ist zwar schon einige Monate her, dass wir das große Glück hatten, das pralle Leben und auch ein Bißchen Arbeit mit Familie Anna Ludwig Yoshi Aynara (sowie zeitweise auch Annas Papa, Luc) zu teilen, aber das wunderbare Gefühl des Willkommenseins und der tiefen Freundschaft und Verbundenheit lebt unvermindert weiter in uns. :-)) Diese Menschen
… read more haben wir absolut in unser Herz geschlossen. Authentisch, geerdet, im Familienalltag erfrischend „echt, herzensoffen, großzügig… Ich könnte die Liste beliebig fortsetzen. Wir fühlten uns mega zuhause, inklusive aller geteilten Wirren und Freuden des Lebens mit kleinen Kindern.
Es hat uns super viel Freude gemacht, alles vor Ort mitzumachen, was so lief, und das war jede Menge, z.B. auch ein toller, 2x wöchentlicher Spielkreis als Begegnungsstätte für die kinderreichen Auswander-Familien in der Gegend, die wir ebenfalls sehr liebgewonnen haben. Unsere gemeinsame Freude an der Musik sowie an vielen tiefgehenden Gesprächen und auch Momenten der geteilten Leichtigkeit sind auch besonders erwähnenswert. :-)
Uns hat die Art und Weise, wie unsere tollen Gastgeber das Leben mit Kindern angehen (mit teilweiser Selbstversorgung auf einem wunderschönen Grundstück) super gefallen, und wir konnten viele Erkenntnisse für unseren weiteren Lebensweg mitnehmen.
Die galizische Landschaft ist für meine/unsere Begriffe einfach traumhaft schön, mit vielen intakten Wäldern und lieblichen Rundungen, und fühlte sich wie Zuhause an. :-)
Wir haben Anne & Ludwig sehr viel zu verdanken und wünschen uns, dass wir uns im Leben unbedingt wieder begegnen, egal ob in Galizien oder bei uns in Deutschland.Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.

family scott, ella, jona and noah came here and our personalities and different cultures melted together just like a great example of peace and freedom. german, russian, ucrainian, dutch and us american culture all together and daily life with all its up and downs, laughing and crying, relaxing and tense moments and allways and everywhere the kids
… read more arounf and among us screaming, laughing, crying. this family is special and i am sure not everybody could handle this but we could and we wanted more, but the time to say goodbye had to come but we hope very much to see us again and still we have a hope a "miracle" happens and we get you ghuys as neighbours next door. we pray for it:) it was all not about work as in these weeks we did not do so much works and had more family things to do so here i do not talk about working skills etc. anyways for us the most important thing is the together living and feeling than the work:) ella is a fantastic chef for our sense of taste and scott is a fabolous singer and noah and jona are mega sweet boys with the most beatifull smile ever:) LOVE

sorry for this very late review!!!!!! this family kata, roberto mania and gaba was a absolutely wonderfull company for us and as we had our little house full of people as family visit from holland was here as well with kids it was a bit chaotic sometimes but allways in a positive way as everybody here took part in cooking, cleaning and going for
… read more wood and roberto and kata are used to mjuch work which we could not provide to much as we are a bit lazy after spending 2 dekades in the caribbean sea before:) we are on a same wavelenght in many things and we could have spend much more time together and hopefully in future our place is on the route back north so we will come together again and have more time also for visiting the beautifull spots around here what we did not have time to when the you were here.

Lulu and Anna decided to receive us in their busy period and we're extremely grateful! It was a true honour to be around them and to get to know their Dutch family. We came for about a week, gathered and chopped up some wood, helped out with putting up shelving and did some deweeding. We also tasted the best croissants on earth, watched the rain
… read more from fire-wood heated living room, went mushroom picking and had a splendid pizza party. All in all staying with them definitely felt more like a vacation, not a workation! ;)) We were totally impressed by their hospitality, generosity and authenticity. We enjoyed Lulu's old sea dog stories, his sense of humour and admired Anna's maturity and wisdom. … read more matthieu from the first moment and so it was all the 20 days he was part of our family. he played a lot with our little one yoshi and he took the dogs for long walks and helped a lot in the garden. we have had a few good intensive conversations and it was great to have a discussion partner with matthieu who is able to accept other opinions and he has a absolutely good sense of humor (sometimes i thought he could have english roots somehow because of a slight black humor sense:)....thats a joke matthieu:)
matthie is allways wellcome back here in our family place as we have enjoyed completely living together and share with him!!!!

As for the work to do, that depends on your abilities, what you want to do, and your willing to participate to this beautiful project: gardening, building, feeding the animals, cooking, child-caring... They don't pressure you, but your help will be needed (and gratifying)!
So if you want to spend great time in one of the most beautiful areas in Spain, if you like animals, children and debates, if you speak German or want to learn it (for though Lulu and Anna speak excellent Spanish + English, German is they daily language), go for it!

wir hatten zwar nur eine kurze zeit zusammen aber diese zeit mit anke war super super super!!!!!!!!! anke ist eine aussergewoehnñliche aktive und selbsstaendige mitmenschin und mitbewohnerin und hat uns so dermassen unter die arme gegriffen dass wir uns schon schnell haetten gaenzlich dran gewoehnen koennen:) anke hat selber kinder gross gezgen
… read more und man hats deutlich gesehen wie unser kleiner yoshi sofort sich hat on ihr verzaubern lassen und ist ohne mucken und murren sofort mit anke los in die waelder zum brombeersammeln und das obwohl unser yoshi nicht sooo schnell fuer "fremde" zu erwaermen ist:) wir haben in der kurzen zeit mit anke ordentlich im garten geschafft und unseren lebensmittel-keller komplett verputzt und wir haben einfach eine sehr schoene zeit miteinander gehabt!

Lulu, Ana and Yoshi were adorable! We really felt part of their family even though we only stayed for one week. They made us feel welcomed from the very first day.
